I'm not against ethanol blending. If it helps reduce oil imports, that's a good long-term goal. But the impact on mileage is real, at least in my experience. My car earlier used to run around 280 km on 20L of petrol. Over the last 2–3 months, the same 20L is giving only about 230 km. That's 20% milage reduction. Consumers should have the option to choose a lower ethanol blend, even if it costs a little more.

Observed a new pattern in Bangalore hospitals. The same doctor has 3-7 rooms; they make patients sit in different rooms at the same time, and the main doctor keeps moving from one room to another to save their own time every 5 mins. This particular doctor gave me 5 min slot when I took the appointment. '5 Mins' I am not exaggerating at all. And I observed this with 3 different doctors now. Once they leave the room, junior doctors explain the rest of the processes, etc. The main doctor is always in hurry.. Have you observed this somewhere else?

Gandhi ji’s aura was on a completely different level. Yesterday, I met a couple of Americans who were clients from my old company days. In a conversation, they spoke more about Gandhi ji than any other Indian personality. Agree or disagree with his ideology, but the global respect and moral influence he created for India still feels unmatched.
