I’m hoping it means I’ll be able to take Dolly on some shorter walks now we’re home - shorter because I need to be able to do other things as well in a day whereas on holiday it didn’t matter if I had to rest for ages after. And it’ll have to be based around how I am/what’s on.

On Thursday I did something amazing: I walked Dolly to the beach & back from our caravan. It was slow, I had a 15 minute rest on the bench by the beach & took me almost an hour. But I did it! I couldn’t do anything for the rest of the day but it was worth it. And I am so proud 🥹

@SianGotME Had to fight to get this appt. Thankfully it was cysts and not breast cancer but can you imagine if we hadn't been able to sort it out and it was? I guess I would have just been left at home with breast cancer. Now too ill to travel, so no screening and family history.

I see that Dr David Mason Brown in Scotland sadly passed away this year & there is a memorial service for him on October 29:

I am happy to announce this weekend I will be receiving the Mahatma Gandhi Center National Nonviolence award at James Madison University. The inaugural winner of this award was civil rights activist John Lewis. I am incredibly humbled to be receiving it.
