Very sad to hear of the shock passing of the massively talented astrophotographer Alyn Wallace. I was fortunate to meet him a number of times and I learned a lot of what I know from his videos #RIP ✨🪐⭐️

The Intersection of Galaxy and Zodiac 🌌 In this image I recently captured from the Canary Island of La Palma you can see two faint bands of light illuminating the night sky. On the right is the more familiar Milky Way and on the left is the lesser known zodiacal light.

@nigeldanson Can’t believe this, really such a shock!! I did not know him at all apart from through his YouTube and fantastic book but he really made an impact and inspired my own photography in this space. RIP.

I actually can't believe I am writing this as it doesn't seem real. This afternoon I found out about the tragic passing of Alyn Wallace. I wasn't a close friend of Alyns but he inspired me with his incredible passion for Astro Photography. I was fortunate to get to spend two weeks in Antarctica with him and he was the nicest guys you could possibly meet. He was always willing to share his knowledge but what I really admired was is humility. He never considered himself an elite Astro photographer but those of you who read his recent book would realise that to be untrue. His knowledge was truely inspiring. Today the photography world lost one of its most incredible leading lights. I offer my deepest sympathy to Alyn's family and close friends. Alyn's impact on his craft will last forever. Rest in peace mate!

@HertzUK service at Heathrow office is horrific. Gold desk is closed, looking at over a 60 minute wait for my ticket number!!! Absolutely packed with frustrated customers.
