@Dusty3080467325 @usdaFSA @USDA_NRCS @SecRollins oh, FFS. we had a record dry spring stretch that ended with a 4-6" deluge before the crop was established enough to hold it, it's called mother nature. sure it's ugly, but you cant condemn a whole community on a bad weather break.

10 years ago you’d a been kicked out of government subsidies programs by @usdaFSA and your county @USDA_NRCS for farming practices like this …….. Over the last month I have witnessed more surface and rill erosion than we had 10 years ago…… I will ask @SecRollins @DepSecVaden why producers are allowed to let this happen today It only takes 500 years to build an inch of topsoil

@AdamLasch1 Yes, gov't involvement ruins the economics of every industry they touch. Especially ours, and healthcare. But they have to keep food cheap and stable to keep their jobs. If corn spikes to $100 like oil does occasionally, it would be a bad scene.

@OrinRomine Every XYZ Payment. There are row crop farmers in our area the have collected an AVERAGE of between $80k and $100k per year in various usda since 1995. If that doesn't constitute a major windfall for the older gen, while simultaneously locking out the young, what can we call it?

Borderline conditions, but had enough of a “dry” spell to get another 40 acres in before a 0% chance of rain turned into 100%. I feel for you guys that need rain, but we can’t seem to miss one here. It’s inching up on June pretty fast

@iamyourfarmer I would say the post was a success. All the righteous indignation got them lots of views, comments, and reposts. Somewhere in the fray someone saw it and thought - Huh, I could use that tool for X, Y, Z task. Pretty cheap advertising.

An example of wanting to be mad, is a company that makes a ditcher for draining fields. They then show a 2nd use for the tool, cleaning out a ditch and then people feel the need to proceed to freak out.

@iamyourfarmer it's just rage bait for views, people can't really be mad about all these issues.

Ok this is so sad it’s funny as shit. So let’s burn $6 diesel with $750K of iron and turn the soil to powder so it blows in the ditch. Now let’s spend another $500K of iron and burn more $6 diesel to blow it back into the field. For fuks sake. We have lost our GD minds
Elmer's MFG@elmersmfg

When extreme winds hit, the Wolverine Ditcher becomes a powerful soil recovery tool, returning soil from your ditches back onto the field and distributing it evenly up to 50 feet in a single pass.

AgLeader experts. Has anybody out there tried Dickey John Hy Rate Plus seed tube sensors with an AL seed tube monitoring module? Dealer called AgLeader and they weren't sure anybody had done it yet but thought it should work? Trying to avoid buying all new sensors.

You are the most treacherous and truly worthless Republican leader in the history of the party. You even make Paul Ryan look like a plausible Republican, and there could be no lower bar. Stop talking. You’re embarrassing yourself.
Leader John Thune@LeaderJohnThune

500 days ago, Republicans had a long to-do list. We’ve checked a lot of things off, but we still have more to do. And we’re not about to take our foot off the gas.

@bumbadum14 @martianwyrdlord Placing wildlands in national parks now is a curse upon them. Look at the overcrowding and the lines of cars waiting for hours at the entrances for someone to leave so they can enter. NPS is bureaucracy bound organization that has failed to keep up with a changing America.

Does anyone else have political fatigue? I am honestly anti-the entire system. I’m anti-government. I want the whole thing torn down wall by wall with a fresh start. Democrats care more about protecting illegal aliens and giving them benefits than American citizens while Republicans care more about interests of foreign countries (thanks to lobbying that you are not supposed to talk about) than the issues here at home (e.g., high gas prices, high grocery prices, and cutting spending to pay down the debt and reduce inflation). Democrats are weirdos that sexualize children and treat science like a religion that cannot be questioned. They also think that raising taxes and socialism will solve everything, which would further empty our pockets. Republicans just yap about economic burdens and then do nothing to ease them, which is why many young people turn to socialist ideology. A giant reset button is in need because they do nothing but stick a big red, white, and blue middle finger to the American people every day. And, we continue to subsidize it with taxes. Take the rose-colored glasses off and see reality for what it is. Our founding fathers raised hell and then some over far less.
