I got a “C” on a paper at @UofIllinois for simply for having a pro Chief Illiniwek stance. This was 2000. Went home for break and showed my Dad-pretty bright guy-who said my stance was the only reason for the poor grade; was well written. He said “If I could go back, I’d argue with these professors all day long!” I definitely saw wokism bias and this was 26 years ago! @ianmSC

What’s impressive about this is that the education system didn’t just eliminate virtually all conservative thought as it moved toward left wing extremism, they got rid of almost anyone who was in the middle too. Anyone who doesn’t fully comply with the groupthink isn’t welcome.

@Kevin_McKernan Could you please point me to the direction of a quality CBD for a cancer patient?

As someone who has been in the cannabis industry for 15 years and spent significant effort to sequence the 1st cannabis genome to establish quality standards in the field, I stopped engaging with Makis when I witnessed him push patients toward CBD providers I’ve never heard of nor had any legitimate lab testing (current CofAs) of the CBD oil he was endorsing for immunocompromised patients. I have personal experience with cancer and Cannabinoid sourcing for my Father. The Makis redirected company hosted many of his unverifiable ‘patient testimonies’ on their product pages suggestive of Makis getting royalties for the sales. He actively redirected people from providers that earned a 20 year reputation in the field servicing pediatric epilepsy cases to this sprout up company singing his praises. That’s when I realized he was over his skis on CBD but cloaked his QA/QC recklessness in the desperation of his alleged patients. Any critique is met with accusations of the critic being part of the anti-Makis shadowy cabal. Pure cult behavior. This doesn’t mean IVM/FenBen or CBD don’t work for various ailments. They do but they are not panaceas. Once you’re outside of the FDA system, QC is everything (in fact even the FDA fails a this) and he doesn’t give 2 shits about it. The sordid Makis history documented by @open_vaet has not been addressed by Makis. He’s just insulting and blocking everyone asking questions about it claiming he’s the victim of a grand conspiracy. Many of us are targets of such harassment but you cant let this be a camouflage for bad actors. Never take his advice on cannabinoids. I don’t have any investments in companies that sell cannabinoids and I don’t sell medical coaching about it. If you want trusted advice in that space I’d point you the Society For Cannabis Clinicians. Project CBD is a good resource run by Martin Lee. Trusted physicians in that space are Dr Bonni Goldstein Dr. Dustin Sulak

William Makis pushed the COVID vaccines until he saw there was more money for him in "fighting for medical freedom." Up until late 2021, he was pushing boosters. Then suddenly, his tune changed. Here are some of the posts he deleted. 🧵

The HighWire@HighWireTalk·
This conversation on The HighWire will blow your mind. @edclayofficial told @delbigtree how his mother became severely ill with rheumatoid arthritis and conventional medicine ran out of answers. So he started searching for alternatives. That search led him to a hospital in Mexico that had once offered immune-stimulating therapies. By the time he found it, the hospital had already shut down. Most people would have walked away. Clay and two partners did the opposite. They bought the hospital, rehired the original staff, moved in for six months to rebuild it, and reopened it to treat patients who had run out of options. Their first patient was his mother. “We brought my mom down there in a wheelchair. Three weeks later, she was walking again.” Today, patients from around the world travel there seeking regenerative therapies largely unavailable in the United States. @naomirwolf Good point. I took BC for about 7 years and had infertility. Since then I haven’t had any Bc for 22 year and am having the worst perimenopause symptoms. Ugh! I’m stuck with hormones to live a normal life. Before hormones I had a debilitating headache for 4 years

If you don’t take artificial hormones for birth control you won’t have any issues imo. I am convinced that the symptomatic hellscape that Big Pharma describes as ‘menopause’ is simply hellish birth control hormonal dysregulation withdrawal symptoms for many women. I have read centuries of women’s diaries and letters and before the recent past women celebrated the end of their childbearing years because they could have crazy sex whenever they wanted without the risk of unwanted pregnancy and they did not miss cramps etc and they felt great. Truth.

@naomirwolf Keep hearing about all these menopause symptoms from my friends and I’m wondering why none of it has ever hit me? I have been taking Juice plus for over 25 years, and use essential oils, including one that contains wild yam. Perhaps good nutrition can keep symptoms at bay?

@newstart_2024 One of the hardest parts for me is the cost! You literally need to be rich to recover from this stuff! It takes an incredible amount of money and it’s all experimental, no guarantee it will even help!

Chris Williamson just opened up about one of the heaviest things he's gone through. He flew to Vienna for an intense experimental treatment: extracorporeal blood filtration combined with whole-body hyperthermia (raising his core temperature to 41°C / 105°F) and oxygenation. They ran his entire blood volume through a filter roughly 15 times over several hours while under anesthesia, aiming to pull out toxins and hit deep intracellular infections like chronic Epstein-Barr, CMV, and Borrelia that hide inside cells and drain mitochondrial energy. Therapeutic hyperthermia (controlled fever) has been studied for decades because many pathogens, including Borrelia (Lyme) and certain viruses, are heat-sensitive. At temperatures around 41°C, they become stressed, release toxins, and become more vulnerable, while oxygen-rich blood can help combat intracellular infections and support mitochondrial function. The filtration step then removes the dumped toxins and inflammatory mediators. Day three was mostly recovery and reset, but Chris is honest about how brutal the whole process feels — the physical pain, the loss of control, the emotional weight, and the patience required when progress is slow and uncertain. He's still fighting, still hoping this brings him back to himself. Respect for putting it all out there so openly. What’s the hardest part of health journeys for you — the physical toll, the uncertainty, or learning to be patient and gentle with yourself when nothing feels in your control?

The University of Illinois President testified on Tuesday in the IL Senate that 41% of his students pay no tuition or fees. Who are the students that pay nothing? No one asked in committee. At what rate do they graduate and what do they study? What's their citizenship status? I'm certain 42,000 students (student population 101,000) are not in the ROTC program or are merit scholars with near perfect ACT or SAT scores. So many unanswered questions. Needless to say the university president requested more money for this year's budget. How about start with every student having skin in the game?

Plastic blenders are a source of microplastics that most people overlook. Those with plastic jars or pitchers release microplastics, and even nanoplastics, into blended food or drinks due to friction and mechanical abrasion during blending. A single 30-second blending cycle can release up to 1 billion (yes, with a "b") micro- and nanoplastic particles. BPA-free products are safer but can still release particles due to heavy use, heat, or abrasion. My advice is to switch to a completely stainless-steel blender. It's the only way to avoid contamination. Thanks to @StevenBartlett for allowing me to audit his kitchen! Check out the full episode.

I believe this sort of a transformation is much more sustainable long term than Reta, Ozempic, Tirza etc.. These peptides work for weight loss, but you won't correct the underlying cause (garbage food, lack of discipline) and you'll gain the weight back when you stop.
holisticbaddie@holisticbaddie

Took me 10 months to unfat myself and I took no Reta. Learned a lot about myself along the way and endured the power of discipline. It sucks but much more rewarding than taking a fat drug or peptide.

Stage 3 rectal cancer in a 26 year old. This is what I've been warning about. The incidence of colorectal cancer in young adults has nearly doubled since the early 1990s. We're seeing Stage III and IV in people under 40 with increasing aggressiveness. But the real story here is the treatment. This is dostarlimab, a PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor. Immunotherapy alone. No surgery. No chemo. No radiation. 100% clinical complete response rate in mismatch repair deficient rectal cancers. The immune system did what it was designed to do. We've known since PD-1 inhibitors were approved in 2014 that this was the direction cancer treatment needed to go. The paradigm is shifting. Empower the immune system instead of destroying it.

This is happening in the US. They are targeting political activists, whistleblowers, former candidates, etc. Unlike Paris, I believe our Space force is watching them all and putting quite a number of cases together to take them all down at the appropriate time via Military.

Illinois has the most state pension debt in America — by a wide margin. How bad is it? IL Pension Debt: $145.49B The bottom 41 states combined: $145.77B IL population: ~12.7M Bottom 41 states: ~180M And Pritzker and his allies in Springfield are considering pension sweeteners that could add $76B+ more in costs for Illinois taxpayers. This is not sustainable. This is a crisis.
