Safety in NYC and on the MTA is a non-partisan issue. Everyone should be on the same page. Over 4.6 million people take the MTA every day. A psychotic and crazy homeless man who had been arrested 4 times in the last 3 months and was literally just released from Bellevue Hospital's psych ward on Friday took the life of a 76 year old retired NYC public school teacher just 4 hours later. It's terrible and tragic. People who are a danger to law-abiding citizens should not be allowed on the streets. Period. Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and Zohran Mamdani are all complicit. There needs to be a bigger focus on who is on the ballot during critical elections and ensuring that the AG and DA seats are home to people who are tough on crime and prioritize the safety of New Yorkers.
