Decent day of signings that for Tigers. Feels like with the squad development work done this year plus the new signings, the squad will be stronger next season. Genuine options across the park. Exciting times ahead 🤌🤌🤌

@CharlieFelix Maybe just because we aren’t doing well but feel like the competitiveness of the league on the table isn’t there this year. Bristol somewhat still in it but think top 4 is now set with 6 games to go sadly. No relegation means nothing really to play for rest of the season

It’s the end of March and Saracens need a big upset on the road to progress in the Champions Cup and almost require snookers to stay alive in the league. Other Prem teams simply look more coherent and energetic. thetimes.com/sport/rugby-un…

@talkMacca whiteley's versatility is underrated, has played both 9 & 10 this season

In this era of multi dimentional players not many teams carry an out and out winger on the bench, however when you have Orlando Bailey, James O'Connor, and Billy Searle in your 23 I guess Geoff Parling feels he has enough options
Andrew McKenna@talkMacca

Team news for the first @talkSPORT2 commentary tomorrow: * Gloucester 2 changes: Gwynne & Englefield for Trenholm and Williams * Tigers 1 change: JVP for Whiteley - so Chessum, Heyes and Smith HAVE to be rested against UBB .. there's also Radwan back on the bench

Who are rugby’s great ‘late bloomers’, past and present? No points for your Stu McCloskeys/folks who were always quality before becoming a test regular. Looking more for the Thomas Ramos, Nacho Brex types

@TightFive_Rugby not sure the hack from murley was his best moment, drop on, kill it and take the scrum

Yeah Pollock, you’ve got to hold onto that ball. Cost England the game and Ireland the Six Nations.

@talkMacca why is it that when things go well its because of blackett but when things go badly blackett has been marginalised?

#leicestertigers I'm reading of lots of player movements for Gallag Prem clubs, but not much news coming out of Tigers, starting to get a bit twitchy

@FromLe2 @PeterHanna9 I kinda get the feeling it's gonna be Gareth Thomas or Beno Obano as loosehead props, Lozowski or someone from Super Rugby for centre, Glen Young for Lock

@18stephenm He didn’t play against Spain which was the game that would have tied him to England. The All Blacks XV game didn’t count towards that

@cornwall_fraser In fairness the England team that OHC played in was considerably poorer than the one Roebuck has played in

I really rate OHC would put him and Muir as the 4th choice for England behind IFW, Freeman and Roebuck but to say he has a better skills set than roebuck is wrong. Especially in the air. Also roebuck has never had a bad game for England and OHC has struggled there

@RugbyInsideLine Of that list based on Opta Stats Cracknell 24/25 season Dominant tackles - 2nd (1 Willis) Total carries - 1st (not just that list in the prem overall) Committing 2+ tacklers - 2nd (1 Willis) Dominant carry % - 5th (1 Mata, 2 Du Preez, 3 Clement, 4 Fislau) Why is he bottom?

I like Wigglesworth & rate him as a coach more than others. However learning your trade as a defence coach, on the job, at England level doesn’t feel right or practical. It does feel like a fudge to keep people happy rather than decisive decision making & allocation of roles.
Charles Richardson@CharlesRTel

Exclusive 🚨 England have made a move for Bath's Lee Blackett to become their permanent attack coach, with the hope of Richard Wigglesworth moving to defence telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/20…
