I think this is where general Biblical illiteracy in the church is going to become painful, because people can just make things up like this and it becomes "truth" to many people.
Also, even if Mary did consent to it, I'm not sure it follows at all that abortion suddenly becomes permissible. It seems to be something that if I say yes, I don't get to change my mind by killing the person that comes by way of that decision. And if I say no, it's not equivalent to allowing an abortion. So in a sense, Talarico is making a leap in moral judgement here that doesn't even follow his premise.

His rendering of that story is completely untrue. Gabriel doesn’t actually ask for Mary’s permission there. She simply ascends to what God has already decided and already chosen. She’s not actually consenting to that.
Using the incarnation of Christ to defend abortion is a complete distortion of scripture.

This is such a stupid & pathetic argument. People know Jesus didn't list every moral ought, but He taught us how to think about ethics and virtue. You don't get a free pass to boil cats alive because Jesus never forbid it. We use the guidance of the Bible to know that is wrong. Likewise, the guidance of the Bible also teaches us abortion is wrong because it is wrong to murder an innocent life. Leftists want to reject basic reasoning skills when it comes to the topic of abortion, and hide behind these pathetic arguments, so they can justify murdering babies in the womb.
