@AlexAperios I have no idea what my 16" M1 fan sounds like. However with 14" M4 Pro I enjoy those brief moments when fans aren't blasting full gass

Anyone else’s 14inch M4 Mac Pro fan always on these days or is it just mine? Thinking of switch to a 16. My M1 16 never ran hot. Wonder if that has anything to do with it? Or that Ai apps are just now that taxing!

what do you call it when you start a design movement and everyone copies you and then it becomes overused and "aesthetically ugly" like the Linear/Vercel homepage effect

@novikoff This reminds me of those blind camera tests by @MKBHD where majority of people usually prefer photos are more flat, has everything in focus, and in general would be considered worse photos by photographers. This might be just the thing for people who want postcard like pictures

Interesting, I actually prefer the fog as it creates unique sense of depth. Can I add fog?

so the viewing angles are actually worse on the S26 Ultra due to the privacy display 😭 thankfully, the display experience isn’t compromised when looking at the display head on

@Shadaya_Knight If you took a 2/3 year break from buying new phone you'd see the difference in same way as if they were releasing phones less frequently

Is it mandatory that Apple and Samsung should release phones every year. Because it looks as if there's nothing new they're bringing with the new models. Why not take a 2/3 year break, during that period, releasing software updates Smartphones have reached their peak

@vanschneider Guess it depends on the pattern in mind. If it's something *not nice to do*, then sure. If it's something that screws people over (like Adobe sub cancelation) then I think it needs to be talked about
