@johnlewishelp The issue was that we took the TV home on Saturday as the old TV was dead. We couldn’t wait for delivery. That’s why we were taking it to the store.

@alisonj17 I'm sorry to hear that, Alison and will feed back regarding this disappointing experience. When purchasing a TV from John Lewis, there's a TV recycling service you can add to your order, at a charge, and our team will take this away when they deliver. Best regards, ^Lynda.

@johnlewishelp Not really! hung up after nearly 20 mins. All I wanted to know was where to take old TV for recycling. Something that could have been easily answered by local JL store. Managed to find it online. Customers need to be able to contact local stores. Expect better.

@sammy_rufared I just posted this photo because I was in Aberdeen (my hometown) a couple of weeks ago, and thought it was a good view. Eight hours later you couldn’t see a thing because the haar had rolled in.

@alisonj17 Alison , I hope you know I was being sarcastic. Some of us try to make poor jokes trying to keep our spirits up under this undesirable administration. We seem to get bad news daily 😕 The beach looked lovely .

@IsabelOakeshott You need to get the full story before spouting off. Suggestion is judges are given information on accused before trial. This includes women, people from troubled backgrounds, religious minorities etc. There’s a whole list of people this would apply to.

t.co/J1I2gPgtru Want to stop Pakistani rape gangs, end two-tier policing, or bring an end to mass immigration? We’re “far right” now according to the Home Office. This nonsense belongs in North Korea, not Britain. It’s Orwellian and smears millions of decent people who are angry about how our country is being run. To Make Britain Great Again two-tier policing must be stopped, NCHIs must be scrapped and we need to be honest about Islamist extremism. We can’t go on like this.

@LeeAndersonMP_ If only you knew how often the aging ambulances were in a garage being repaired. Probably not a paint job - it’ll be a sticker (or wrap). BTW - it’s “the state of this”

State A This. The next time you are waiting 24 hours for an ambulance then please cut them some slack. They're probably waiting for the paint to dry.

@daveatherton If they were allowed to work, & contribute to the economy, things might improve. They wander around the locality all day, because they have nothing to do. If they were allowed to work it might help them integrate. It would give them some purpose and help them learn the language

The messages are flooding in from followers old & new on how migrants in hotels ruin communities. The loss of trust, no respect for our culture & the sexual harassment of women & girls. Read & weep. "Good afternoon David after seeing some of the posts about migrant hotels I’d like to share with you anonymously the negative impact on the local community a migrant hotel has had on us. "The local hotel in the northern Home Counties has been housing migrants for a few years now. I keep horses on my parents land on the lane directly opposite the hotel & lived in the area until October last year. "We decided village life was no longer for us as we could no longer enjoy the perks of village life. I like many others no longer felt safe going for a walk or a run, going to the village shop or walking to my stables to tend to my horses. "We have had multiple incidents up our stables the most serious being a male made his way up to our drive & threatened my parents with violence. They had to lock themselves in their car. Police were called it took them two hours to arrive. "My parents who are both 70 were so frightened they then called my husband who was fortunately working from home & went to monitor the male until the police arrived. He spat at police officers as he was arrested & later we were told he was sectioned and placed in a mental health unit. We heard nothing more. "I have been been harassed & made to feel unsafe just trying to unlock the access gates to my stables by males walking to & from the hotel. They snicker, stare you down & look you up & down & laugh amongst themselves, sometimes they beg for you to give them work. "Last September we had a male from the hotel set up camp in our gateway amongst some fly tipped rubbish. When I confronted him he said he had be kicked out of the hotel. It took me a week to get the council to clear the rubbish so he would leave. He was later reported by locals for hanging around a nearby school. "Women have been followed home, sexually assaulted, shouted at & made to feel uncomfortable by these men. Reports in the area suggest men hanging around the playground videoing & trying to engage with young children. "A new village Facebook page was started because posts were deleted or comments turned off by admin when incidents were reported. There has also been an increase in vehicle crime with at least one male from the hotel arrested for theft from vehicle. A villager had his bike stolen & then found it chained up outside the hotel. "The hotel has had a really negative impact on the community. I am always on high alert up my stables always looking over my shoulder, I don’t put the radio on incase I don’t hear anyone who might come to the yard when I’m on my own. "Even riding my horse in the yard is no longer something I feel safe doing as groups of men have made comments & made me feel uncomfortable, I’m scared they will work out I am there alone & see me returning to the stables. It’s ruined my once loved hobby & passion. "We have owned that land for over 20 years without issue. It is a sanctuary to me and my parents a peaceful place to enjoy our horses but that is no longer the case. I contacted my then MP multiple times. He was somewhat helpful & forwarded on all my complaints to the Home Secretary who then just batted them off & didn’t answer my questions. Sadly te MP has retired & now we have another who couldn’t be less interested. It took nearly 3 months to reply to me. She said that she would look into my concerns, that was months ago & I haven’t heard back. I’ve resigned myself to the fact nothing will change & for some reason the government want these illegal men in our country & my feeling is we should all just shut up and put up with it. "They have an agenda and it won’t stop. I am worn out and tired by it. "Please see attached photos of some of what’s been going on here. I just wanted to share so you can see how widespread this issue is. Please keep me anonymous if you share any of this information. "Many thanks." The images are of migrants.

@mjfree Everybody and their brother went to those parties. It does not mean they partook. Trump’s life, his children, his family prove that he could not be a part of that.

@MthrJacquiT My sister and I are dreading clearing our mother’s house. As well as tea and coffee sets that our parents received as wedding presents, there’s a tea set belonging to our grandparents (married 1914) and one belonging to our great grandparents (married 1884).

@British_Airways Thanks, I was planning to do that anyway. It’s very inconvenient because there are only two BA check in desks at Aberdeen airport. There are always very long queues. If you want to retain my customer, you need to do better!
