@DeanTTraining I’ve got a home gym with a basic rack and cable system, so I can setup low row - but I don’t have a preacher pad or setup. I’ve got an incline bench, so I guess single arm curls is my best option? Any other suggestions that I guess I’m overlooking to provide support for bilat?

Most programs rank kids. We track them. Travel ball is largely zero-sum. Your kid moves up when another kid moves down. The kid who doesn't start knows it. Feels it. Every single weekend. That environment doesn't build players - it builds anxiety. At Driveline Academy, every player has a baseline and a trajectory. We measure how hard they swing, how hard they hit, how hard they throw, and how well they move. We test at the start of the year. We retest throughout. Your kid will know if they got better - because the numbers say so, not because a coach said so. We've used this exact system with 100+ MLB pitchers and thousands of college players. Here's what else is real about this program: → 6 months of off-season development. 5 months of competition. A dedicated no-throw period for every athlete. Arm health isn't a policy - it's the calendar. → Strength, speed, and mobility training built into every week - not a separate thing you pay extra for. Kids develop as athletes first, specialists second. → Every kid wears an arm sensor that tracks every throw - workload, intensity, recovery. Pitch counts are enforced. No six-week velocity tricks designed to spike a radar gun. → Our tournaments stay in Washington and occasionally Oregon - close enough to drive to. No flights, no hotel chains, no $4,000 travel tabs. 9U–12U kids keep their Little League. We built this for the families we actually want to serve. → Mental performance coaching through our partnership with 3A Athletics - so kids learn to handle pressure and failure, not just mechanics. Nutrition guidance. Recruiting support. The same development reports we give pro players - your kid owns their data. → Scholarship support available for families in need. If this program is right for your kid, cost shouldn't be the reason they don't play here. 🗓️ Tryouts start Sunday, April 26 📍 Driveline Baseball - 23211 66th Ave S, Kent WA 98032 ⚾ 11U–18U - 90 minutes Come see the facility, meet the coaches, and we'll evaluate your kid's swing, throw, and athleticism - and show them where they stand. 🔗 Tryout sign up links in bio #drivelinebaseball #skillsthatscale #youthbaseball #littleleague #pnwbaseball

@KaneJMiddleton @devenmorgan @CodyMorrisPitch Your counterargument requires reframing the conclusions into something no one actually claimed, that’s a strawman. If multiple independent groups + one internal group all find the same thing, the internal group isn’t the outlier, it’s the confirmation.

Ahh yes. The Driveline conspiracy angle! Except that every single study on this topic has come to the same directional conclusion: 1️⃣ Ball weight goes up 2️⃣ Arm speed goes down 3️⃣ Elbow varus torque goes down It isn’t 2018. Driveline doesn’t control the weighted ball market with an iron fist anymore. Hell you could argue this research benefits Dongguan Blorpex Sunshine Global Lifestyle Trading Co and others selling bootleg plyos / WB on Amazon more than it does us. We press onward with stuff like this because - believe it or not - we actually care about getting to the truth of what works to train players. That inherently also means getting to the bottom of where the risk is and isn’t. Evidence > narrative.
Cody Morris@CodyMorrisPitch

Well of course the biggest name in the weighted ball business is going to say weighted balls aren’t the problem😂

BREAKING: Alabama’s Charles Bediako has been ruled eligible by Tuscaloosa Circuit Court Judge Daniel Pruet. Bediako is able to play for the Crimson Tide for the remainder of the season. College sports just changed forever.

Charles Bediako, a former Alabama basketball player who went pro, is suing the NCAA to regain college eligibility. He got a temporary restraining order (TRO) allowing him to play now. The NCAA opposes extending the hearing and wants the TRO dissolved, claiming it was improperly granted without required notice under Alabama's Rule 65. This could end his current play eligibility.

Per documents obtained by @tuscaloosanews, the NCAA has responded in opposition to Charles Bediako’s request to continue the preliminary injunction hearing and has motioned to dissolve his temporary restraining order. “This Court should never have entered a TRO because Plaintiff failed to comply with the notice requirements of Alabama Rule of Civil Procedure 65.”

@coachmarkf @WARRIORNATION20 @HallTechSports1 @AHSAAUpdates Bona fide move only benefits people with money. Player A’s parents can afford to move to a new district so he can play, player B lives in a small rural town barely makes mortgage so they can’t afford to move so he has to sit a year. Let kids play where they want.

@NextRoundLive Remove conference championship weekend, decrease AQs to be 2 from P4 (basically the 2 that would be in Conf CG) plus any G5 that is ranked in top 25. This effectively reduces the whining to the team ranked 23/24/25th. Play home games until Final 4, which happens NYD.

The Big Ten continues to push for a 24-team playoff down the road, as decisions are still being made about the future format of the CFP. Here's what this year's CFB Playoff would've looked like under the Big Ten's proposed 24-team format. - 4 AQs from ACC - 4 AQs from Big Ten - 4 AQs from Big 12 - 4 AQs from SEC - 2 AQs from highest ranked G5 champs - 6 at-larges

@ClayTravis College loses steam after New Years. The schedule has to be reverse engineered to have the championship first Monday >7 days after 1/1, with Final 4 always being on New Year’s Day.

For those complaining about Thursday night, the NFL produces this many viewers just about every Thursday, often for crappy games, on Amazon.

Just 15.8 million viewers for Miami-Ole Miss. It was a great game, but this is a brutally awful number. College football is the only sport that posts lower final four playoff viewership than it does for regular season games. Must be addressed. Audience isn’t growing.

@CFBGuy999 This ultimately incentivizes regular season the whole year, because you could host two playoff games, and also allows decent access for the fringe bottom 4 teams. If you are a G5 champ and on top 25, by all means make it in over Vandy/etc

@CFBGuy999 Second round the top 2 host games at home, and next 2 play at a neutral bow site. Final 4 is played on New Years at a bowl site, championship is played on 1st Monday >7 days after NYD. This rewards regular season and rankings, plus provides access to any team in top 25 if conf ch

Here is my ideal College Football Playoff format: 1. 16 teams (teams ranked 1-16) 2. No automatic qualifiers 3. Round 1 begins the weekend after CCG 4. No bye weeks 5. National Championship on 1/1 Thoughts?

@CFBReport Would mean starting playoff by 2nd weekend in December, which gives teams basically a bye week of rest but keeps them in rhythm, and gets season over by Jan 10thish

@PeterBurnsESPN Oh, and there needs to be some sort of abolishment of AP & Coaches Polls - at least they need to be minimized to the max possible, and work to start with a blank slate mid-season as much as possible. Have to remove pre-season rankings

@PeterBurnsESPN At large bids either need to move to an objective-ish BCS style formula (I’m open to there being a tweaking to what should go into it) or their needs to be televised discussions/votes. I get the last vote needs to be built up, so it can be recorded and released later if needed

So when Horton and Benard drop it, they still get targets and no hate from DeBoer or the fans, But if Ryan drops it… He gets bashed by social media, yelled at by DeBoer and is never seeing the ball come his way again (after already being ignored every game)
