@SkyNews My photos get backed up to Amazon Photos as part of Prime but videos I’m stuck on and have to manually transfer to an external hard drive because I refuse to pay for cloud storage now

@WMerciaPolice Hiya, got a question - a group of kids chucked a bicycle into the river in Worcester city centre yesterday afternoon. No idea if it was stolen or done purely for giggles. I don’t even know if to report it or who to, because I doubt that bike is coming back?

Started playing #AtlasEarth at the end of June and it’s becoming an addiction. Really looking forward to reaching my first payout!
Also my 4th mayor payout 😁 not bad from our small town!

@LaComtesseJamie Well that penguin is better than ANYTHING I could crochet! Its adorable
English

@MSE_Deals I keep bubble wrap and boxes from other orders like Amazon to send my Vinted orders off in, or I buy brown paper. As long as I what I order arrives intact, I don’t really mind how they send it. The more creative, the better 😁
English

Selling your unwanted clobber AND saving on packaging - we definitely don't hate it! 👍
But would you care if you received clothes in an unusual container?
Mollie Goodfellow@hansmollman
Full respect to the seller from Vinted who just put the dress I bought in a plastic bag from Card Factory, tied it up and sent it out
English

@mrdanwalker I would ask first. Someone else has paid money for the space in that skip. That’s just common courtesy so I’m 100% in agreement with you!
English

I’m aware there are far more important things going on in the world but… are there accepted boundaries when it comes to other people’s skips?
My dad always taught us that, if you want to pop something in someone else’s skip, you wait a few days and then you go and ask if they have any space left and they mind.
We had one this week, right outside the house, while we had some work done. Everyday there has been loads of new stuff in there - a toilet, fence posts, kitchen cupboards, bin bags etc - and no-one has asked!
What do you think?
Maybe I’m being an idiot

English

@MSE_Deals I’ve just started using Vinted for selling and I feel like more people are over there shopping for clothes. I made some pretty fast sales that I know I wouldn’t have achieved on eBay
English

Do you flog your unwanted garments on Vinted?
Competition is hotting up as eBay has removed selling fees for clothes, but is it now the best platform to sell on?
Here's what we think ⬇️

@Patr1ckMcCann @MartinSLewis Most of my savings are in a H2B & I’m thinking of moving it. Either to a normal savings account where I can earn 4% instead of 2.5% or transferring to a LISA so I can still get the bonus. Depends on when you plan to buy your 1st house with it I guess
English

@MartinSLewis I have been saving in a Help to Buy ISA for years. I fear I will never use it and it’s money there I can’t really touch (I know I don’t get the bonus if I touch it). Don’t know if I could transfer it to a different high interest account or not.

@implausibleblog @AldiUK I used to have this worry popping things in the basket of my pram but no one stopped me. I also had a gentleman behind me in B&M today unload a bag of shopping onto the conveyer instead of using a basket. I don’t see it as odd
English

Just been 'harassed' at an @AldiUK 🤷♀️
Apparently you can't walk around the store with your own bag filling it up as you go. Items must be placed 'in a basket'
A member os staff walked up to me mid aisle with a basket and said it was store policy.
I asked if it's a new policy as I've been to this store perhaps a dozen times, shopped the same way, and no one has ever asked me to do that.
Staff said it's not a new policy, it's always been this way.
So I asked why no one has ever asked me to do that before.
Staff said, stop arguing and just do it.
So I put my bag in the basket.
Staff said, no, not like that. Put the items in the basket, then put them in your bag after you have paid for them.
I put the bag in the basket and walked off to take this photo.
Aldi, if this is a thing, please let me know. Would appreciate the clarity. Thanks 👍
P.S. If I wanted to steal stuff I'd go to a Waitrose 👀🤷♀️
P.P.S. @waitrose I don't steal stuff so don't worry, and thanks for never stopping me when I shop with my bags and not a basket 👍

@DarbyshireAdele @TheWhiteHorsePu @Elite_Bistros Having worked the server side of things, a disappointing experience once won’t put me off going again. Anything could have caused a poor experience - being a staff member down, delivery issues etc. but to return knowing you won’t be happy and then complain 🙄
English

@TheWhiteHorsePu @Elite_Bistros Disappointed previously so returned to be disappointed again ? Bizarre behaviour!

Gary here,
Non Polite notice to anyone upsetting any of the team here or in any @Elite_Bistros.
I will block your number & details on our system from being able to book again & trust me I do it regularly. It’s music to my ears when arseholes end a review saying they won’t be returning but I like to call them to confirm.
Now let’s quickly compliment Jemma because at 21 years old she’s an absolute credit to The White Horse, to her parents & to the hospitality industry. Jemma I’m sorry these people upset you yesterday & on their behalf instead of working the next guest chef night you can have two tickets to come & enjoy it instead.
Much love from us all here at The White Horse X

@MartinSLewis @bbc5live I worked as a salaried pub manager and made the decision to step down to an hourly paid team leader so we could start a family. Our boy is 2.5 now but I’ve missed the financial independence whilst I’ve been a SAHM.
