@alphyna Могу сказать что лично для меня это теперь лучшая часть Мора (да, даже превосходит оригинал). Радует, что игра не страдает как Pathologic 2 от резкого снижения контента ближе к концу, но всё же чувствуется что последние дни ощутимо более багованные.

@fromsoftserve The real issue here is not your "criticism" but many instances of you using ds2le mod to prop up your own work. Just stop bringing up how your mod is superior to ds2le every time you showcase it, it's insulting to the author.

I've been critical of the DS2LightingEngine mod's default preset lately, but I've been clear that I think it's an impressive mod. Anywho, I guess I got banned from the discord. Which is totally within their right, but I'm a bit surprised. Haven't even sent a message in months

@fromsoftserve Oh, great! I imagine it would've been a nightmare to make some sort of compatibility patches between your own mods or different versions for each combination of them (and then painstakingly update them all after each smallest change to one of the main components).

@kadathian42 So I've thought about and that's why my vanillafication mod is built with my visual overhaul mod as the basis. So you won't have to download the visual overhaul, it'll just be part of it by default.

test went well with Things Betwixt. There's very few changes here between Vanilla and Scholar. Mainly it's the room with the basilisks that's changed. Got rid of them. Added in the hollows. Removed the statue blocking entry. Easy peasy. Onto Forest of the Fallen Giants!

@fromsoftserve Yeah I think it's a great idea. I usually use a reduced gank mod from nexus and was worried that since it edits the map files I wouldn't be able to use it alongside your future grass mod.

Future mod idea: create a version of Scholar that mirrors Vanilla DS2's enemy and item placement. So vanilla DS2 fans can benefit from lighting engine mod, my texture mod, and grass mod too. Lots of work, but I think it would be worth it.

@kadathian42 @Duke_Bilgewater The default setup has those LUT’s configured automatically. You only need to change if you want it to. For eg : Majula, Heide having evening setup Lost Bastille has Moonlit setup. When you go to area, the engine loads that configuration automatically

Alpha 0.8.5 of @DS2LightingMod is available on Nexus Mods now. It adds bloom and 3 LUTs fine-tuned for color grading specific areas. The first pass of atmospheric lighting and volumetric fog settings is also done, and will be rolled out in future updates: nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mod…
