I've always liked Henry as a pundit. Yeah sometimes, like all other ex-players of his generation and before, they have too much expectation for players to act the way they did when they play. However, when he analyses the actual gameplay (especially attacking), its always top notch. This iis a solid breakdown of Real Madrid's current issues. If I were Mbappe, Rashford, Gyokeres or Sesko, I would be calling him up after every game to ask for feedback on my performance.

How was Henderson an ego issue? A player knowing his worth and talent is now considered to be an ego issue just because the media decided he wasnt glamorous enough to state his truth. United didnt have Onana before Kovar. Kovar had already won best GK in Czech's top league the season before we bought Onana. Ten Hag just wanted to sign his players from his agency. And the FFP argument is just one of those very lazy cop outs whenever a youth player is sold. As good as Casemiro has been, we wont have needed him if we just kept Garner and used the money elsewhere.

Because of their greed and need for more workers to help them get fatter, they created a world where women now think its oppression to be stay at home wives looking after their homes and raising their children. They created a world where its no longer possible for most households to survive on one income or for young people to earn enough to buy their own homes. They created a culture of consumption, unnecessary luxury and waste that has contributed to the high prices of things that are essential. Now people have to work 2 or 3 jobs just to survive but then they blame it all on immigrants to draw attention away from themselves. And now they are worried that their future workforce might dwindle due to declining birth rates.

Fertility is collapsing all around the world, not just in the developed West: - Mexico now has lower fertility than the US (even non-Hispanic whites!). - Arab-Israeli fertility is now lower than that of Jewish Israelis. - For first time in 200 years, rich people are having MORE kids than poor. Economist Jesús Fernández-Villaverde (@JesusFerna7026) sat down with me and @pietergaricano to talk about the economics of the fertility collapse, why education can be such a curse for birth rates, why the collapse is happening almost as much in the Muslim and developing worlds as in the rich world, and why so many attempts to address it fail. We also discuss 'no regrets' policies that could help: clearer data for students about the value (or not) of college degrees; lotteries for admissions to the top universities; subsidies for third or fourth children; and, of course, bigger, nicer and more plentiful housing. Listen now. Links below. 0:07:48 Japan’s GDP output per worker vs. per capita 0:16:21 The debt paradox: Why are East Asian bonds still cheap despite demographic decline? 0:24:37 Fertility is falling faster in Mexico than the US 0:34:00 The rapid fall of TFRs across the Muslim world 0:42:11 Zero-to-one versus two-to-three children 0:51:00 A ‘no-regrets’ policy for fertility and welfare 0:55:48 The education trap 1:07:31 The grim returns on certain college degrees 1:11:46 Why policies must incentivize the third child, not the first.

The guy is just a massive idiot that thrives on using negativity to attract engagement. They have practically played less than ONE game together after training for a few days, but StupidBridge wants them to have Carrick/Scholes understanding.. Not to mention that it was a friendly where the manager was obviously trying things and the whole team setup was mostly new. The sheep fans wont understand any of that though.

We can do better by doing what? Hiring another unknown entity? I'm a huge supporter of the idea that Carlo Ancelotti, Luis Ensique or Cesc Fabregas should be the managers to replace Carrick (if he absolutely has to be replaced). But I know that there are absolutely no guarantees with any of them. Carrick IS already doing better with the same team of players that so many fans were blaming instead of blaming Amorim. He's lost ONE game and drawn 2 - one of which was an outright robbery. He's not an unknown entity anymore. Its all well and good to bring in Luis Enrique or someone else, but what happens when they come in and decide to pull an Amorim?

We have the most points in the league since Carrick took over. But “it’s only because the rest of the league are underperforming.” You did the same shit to Ole that the English media and rivals latched onto. You played your part in the hysteria that derailed that project
Mark Goldbridge@markgoldbridge

I think some people forget we were joint 5th when Amorim got sacked. Getting Chsmpions League football would be great but Liverpool have taken 15 points from 33 since Carrick came in and Chelsea have imploded.

People like these are either: 1. Rival fans trying to sabotage the fanbase from within 2. People simply looking for engagement piggy backing off the large fanbase. 3. Absolute idiots who know nothing about the game.
Noush 🧠 | MUFC@NoushardMUFC

Hire Ruben Amorim. Sack Erik ten Hag. Arrest Ole Gunnar Solskjær. And before you come for me… here is why. I would gladly rehire Amorim. I still believe that, with a bit more time, United were on the verge of becoming one of the best teams in the world. Did I love his win rate? No. Did he make some decisions that left us all staring at the screen like, “what is happening?” Absolutely. But I’d still take him back in a heartbeat. Now Ten Hag… Three finals in two years and two trophies. Not bad. Not bad at all. But let’s be honest. Bringing in all those mediocre players was always going to get you… well… fired. You can’t build a Rolls Royce with spare parts from a scrapyard. And Ole? Probably the most dangerous of the three. Why? Because he gave players too much freedom. And what did that create? Player power. Player FC. Dressing room politics. From then till now, the club has been dealing with the aftermath. Fans started picking favorites. Players started feeling bigger than the club. And suddenly, vibes and “inshallah football” became part of the identity. Every time a new manager is mentioned, the debate turns into: “Yeah but does he play good vibes?” So yes. Arrest Ole. For introducing chaos. For introducing player power. And for introducing “vibes over structure” into the DNA of Manchester United.

People may not agree with me but I think a good summer for United would be 2 midfield players of which Adam Wharton has to to be one of them (there is no better forward playing footballer in the EPL right now - Add Elliot Anderson, Garner or any other destroyer type midfielder as the second mid. Then a top right-back is needed because Dalot isnt it. Keep Maguire, bring back Amass (and Rashford only if Carrick is still in charge and Barcelona cant afford to keep him). That for me would be a good summer window. Next season, play kids like Thwaites, Obi, Fletcher etc in the Carling Cup games. Give them a chance to show if they can make the step up.

One of the major problems with modern day football is the modern day fans. Today's fans are more concerned with bragging rights and their favorites than with supporting the team. They are impatient and entitled and have no sense of loyalty but expect absolute loyalty from the players, coaches and managers they like while they throw hate and abuse at the ones who are actually loyal just because they dont like them. They are never objective in their criticisms or analysis of performances, which is fine as the game is an emotional game. But in this day of social media, they exaggerate it all with extreme reactions and turn many more against the players and club they say they support because each post makes them money. Its practically the age of the Toxic Fan.

I think its says more about you than you think. It shows how devoid of critical thinking that you are. Its shows that you very obviously have a short term memory. It shows that you are one of those who have zero understanding of what it means to build towards something longterm as you would prefer momentary short term pleasure over longterm success. So, yeah. You should check yourself before talking about others.

This was who the board signed for Ole in his 2nd season Amad and Pellestri who were both 18 years at the time, Donny Van Der Beek and 33 year old Cavani on a free Only 4 signings and 2 of them were basically youth players Does this look like backing to you? But yet he went on to finish 2nd in the league unbeaten away from home and got to the Europe League final while scored over 120 goals in all competitions Imagine Ole under INEOS

The weirdest argument I see against Carrick is that Ole “failed”. What do you mean by failed? Because except Pep and a handful of managers, everyone eventually gets sacked. Is that what failure is? Ole got to 3rd and 2nd in the PL, reached multiple cup semi finals, and was one penalty away from winning the Europa league with a squad that wasn’t balanced and for sure wasn’t good enough. Time has taught us enough to know that Ole was overachieving with that squad. Forget all that, Ole was achieving all that with Ed Woodward as our DoF. I don’t see many managers being more successful with Woodward as their boss. There is a reason managers like Klopp and Pep didn’t accept the United manager role when Woodward would have been their boss. Most would agree that Berrada/Wilcox are better than Woodward. If Carrick is as good as Ole, we would be competing for the title soon.
UtdXclusive@UtdXclusive

🚨 NEW: Manchester United are fully aware of the risks involved in handing Michael Carrick the permanent job. They’ve seen how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign ultimately unravelled after making the same interim-to-permanent move, and how quickly the mood can shift once the caretaker tag is removed. @UnitedStandMUFC @AndyMitten Surely, I do believe that's a great question and that the players need to know what role they would be expected to play. If Carrick continues then they know what game is expected of them but in the case of managerial change they would not be sure how well they can contribute.

Nonsense and misleading news. Most players wont care if it's specifically Carrick or any other manager at the helm at United especially if he's already winning games. Its Manchester United. What they care about is if the manager actually wants them and how he plans to use them because they dont want to come to a team where the manager doesnt play them because he didnt want them, or plays them away from their best position because he prefers some other player. Its why the call with Managers is a very important part of the recruitment process. Again, the news media using one of the myths they created about football players to sell stupid narratives to dumb sheep fans.

Well if you really want to address the root cause of this issue, then address the unfairness of the divorce settlement system that is highly disadvantageous to the husbands and is now a billion dollar industry for lawyers and the legal system. They are the ones encouraging the breaking up of homes mlby making divorce profitable. How about passing laws that make divorce extremely difficult and non-profitable for either party. This is not to just force people to stay married but mostly to deter people from getting married just for the sake of it. Make people think properly about making the decision to get married as they know divorce might never be an option. Thats a better argument to make.

There’s always another high-profile divorce in the headlines, and it almost always circles back to money; who takes what, who protected their assets by putting it in someone else's name. At some point, you have to ask why these narratives are constantly pushed into the spotlight. It shapes how people think. It plants seeds of distrust. It normalizes the idea that relationships are battles instead of partnerships. The tension between men and women didn’t just appear overnight. The level of division, resentment, and competition we’re seeing today has been building, and it’s being reinforced every day through what people consume. Everyone is being conditioned to see the other side as the problem. Men and women were never meant to operate like opposing forces. The strength has always been in alignment, in building together, in creating something bigger than either side on their own. When that unity breaks down, the family structure weakens. And once that weakens, everything else becomes easier to destabilize.

@Biyo_lar Facts. The fact that for some reason, he decided to break up the best front 3 in football at the time was our downfall. Benching Scholes, Tevez and Berbatov, and starting Ronaldo upfront was more than a blessing for Barcelona and they took that gift gleefully.

Fergies arrogance. Our 08/09 team was far better than that Barcelona team, but we couldn't play their style of football and beat them. If we had played the way we did in 07/08 we'd have pummeled them. Chelsea, who were a worse team should have eliminated Barca. But Fergie wanted to win in style. The 10/11. They were far better than us. If we played it 20 times, we'd have lost 19.
