Our union was founded on the bold demand of $30 an hour for Amazon’s lowest-paid workers, and it sparked a movement across the country. Today we’re proud to stand with @SandyforCouncil to make NYC’s minimum wage a true living wage. ✊ #30forourcity

Today we launched #30ForOurCity with Raise up NY! NYC workers built this city. They should be able to live in it. But $17/hr means 1M+ workers survive on $500/week. That’s not a living wage. That’s a crisis. We say: Enough. $30 for our city! $30 for our workers!
