🚨🔵 Understand Chelsea have been very clear with Barcelona: no intention at all to negotiate, discuss or talk about João Pedro.
#CFC see João as key part of project, it’s not about bid/value. No intention to sell at all.
Chelsea consider João untouchable. 🇧🇷

We won't relent until the proponents of fake finance bill will have nothing left to concoct.
Today I visited a number of phone retail shops within Nairobi CBD where I had direct mutual engagements with respective business owners on the 25% proposed excise duty.
The proposed Finance Bill 2026 aims to simplify the tax structure by collapsing multiple upfront port-of-entry charges on mobile phones into a single, deferred excise duty. This shifts the tax collection away from the importation stage, instead charging a single KRA levy only when the device is bought and activated.

@ubig1 @LarryMadowo So what's positive about arsenal, a team in UK winning the league to Kenya or the people of Kenya??
English

@LarryMadowo Why not say something positive about this instead bringing negativity into this beautiful celebration..

Kenyan police allowed Arsenal fans to gather and disperse peacefully but they never allow the same youth to protest against the government without killing some

@Varticoo @ChelseaFC I think we are not fair to Delap. One season plus injuries. At least we saw what he did at Ipswich. In hindsight remember what comments were over cucurela

Kenyans, we are being conned. Today, I exposed the shocking cost of Talanta Stadium.
Now here’s the most unbelievable part:
A 60,000-seat stadium in Kenya is set to cost MORE than Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. ie 97.5 billion ksh
Read that again slowly.
To put that into perspective:
🇬🇧 Emirates Stadium (England)
60,704 seats — Ksh 68B
🇨🇮 Stade Alassane Ouattara (Ivory Coast)
60,000 seats — Ksh 33.1B
🇪🇸 Estadio La Cartuja (Spain)
70,000 seats — Ksh 23.5B
🇲🇦 Hassan II Stadium (Morocco)
115,000 seats — Ksh 64.5B
🇲🇦 Ibn Battouta Stadium (Morocco)
60,000 seats — Ksh 13.9B
🇨🇩 Stade des Martyrs (DRC)
80,000 seats — Ksh 5.9B
So why is Kenya paying almost 100 BILLION for a stadium smaller than some of these?
For the price of ONE Talanta Stadium, other countries are building 2 or even 3 world-class stadiums.
And we are expected to clap instead of asking questions.
This country is being looted in broad daylight. It might look good, beautiful, but we also need to point out the robbery and stop the robbers.
What's your thought

@Broadbasedgal And in London, a waiter earns Kes 25,000 a day and a taxi driver Kes 30,000 a day. You enjoy manipulation because you know most Kenyans haven’t travelled, most have never left Kenya.

As Kenya advances towards a globally competitive and industrialized economy, access to decent, secure and affordable housing remains a critical pillar in improving urban livelihoods, supporting productivity and driving inclusive socio-economic growth.
The Shauri Moyo Affordable Housing Project in Nairobi, located about six kilometres from the Central Business District, is part of the Government's flagship slum upgrading programme aimed at transforming informal settlements into dignified, modern living spaces.
The estate is set to be renamed Johana Ng'eno Boma Yangu Estate in honour of the late Hon. Johana Ng'eno, the former Emurua Dikirr MP and Chairperson of the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Housing, Urban Planning and Public Works, following a directive issued by H.E. President @WilliamsRuto in March 2026.
Shauri Moyo A comprises 1,848 housing units spread across 12 blocks of 14 floors each and is equipped with key social amenities including parking spaces, an Early Childhood Development (ECD) centre, retail shops, a social hall and open recreational areas designed to support community living.
The larger Shauri Moyo B development, currently under construction, will deliver 4,566 mixed-use residential units targeting diverse socio-economic groups. The project incorporates modern facilities such as a kindergarten, clubhouse, shopping mall, hospital and swimming pool, creating a fully integrated urban settlement.
The two projects are generating thousands of jobs for engineers, technicians, contractors, suppliers, artisans, transport operators and youth engaged across the construction value chain, demonstrating the transformative economic impact of the Affordable Housing Programme.
The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration continues to play a key coordination role in supporting implementation through multi-agency collaboration, community engagement, administrative support and maintenance of a secure environment necessary for the smooth execution of the projects.
