Bittensor // $TAO I have always said that @const_reborn manipulates the entire ecosystem at his own will for his own advantages. This is only the beginning of the whole truth. Internally, many are annoyed and put off by Const, but are still afraid to go public with it, due to Const, who constantly abuses his power. But, you have to wait, it will be very interesting in the next few months. I love Bittensor Maxis, because they can't think realistically, and so they have to learn from losses. I wait and relax...the next few months will amuse me a lot. τ = bittensor $TAO #Crypto

That is really interesting and funny how it’s playing out. So there rule was it didn’t matter . Any subnet owner , could do this . But Const and fish had already decided to gang on me . Const thought fish was going on about me burning , but .. he was going on about copying him IM. So I didn’t care and deleted it regardless, and Const took away that ability . So I said ok fine I’ll move to our own channel, made the announcement , and then Const changed the names on all my subs to deprecated . Like that was going to hurt . But Const is sly, I have proof lol. Even from a moderator that confirmed that the rule was that any subnet owner could moderate their channel as they saw fit . It’s funny how he left out who was making the comments . That’s all be does try to alter reality. Ngl it works pretty well for the cult

So riddle me this. I get that: Locked stake is theoretically optional but practically mandatory as subnets without a substantial locked stake would get sanctioned / avoided. If a sn owner wants to secure runway, cover costs and even take profit that’s all perfectly fine. Why do they need the ability to sell everything at once? Why is the ability of that necessary if you’re a long term builder? Why not be able to lock a part of your owner alpha that you won’t need anytime soon UNLESS you plan an exit. If i was an honest builder on Bittensor and plan to stay indefinitely - i would love boosting the confidence by locking up what i wasn’t planning to sell anyways. Owners often times sell a bunch and that’s perfectly fine. Lium and ridges with a couple thousand t at once and it was no biggie. Subnet owners aren’t underpaid. There is no upside nor need to able to sell all your alpha as an owner. There is no justification for any subnet to dump all their owner alpha at once unless you’re an extractor. Locked stake is no restriction to genuine subnets. Unless i see reasonable explanations from rayon, lium, ridges etc why this would hurt subnets i cannot fathom why you’re so bothered by subnet owners being optionally able to show long term conviction by locking up part of their alpha.

That's why nothing gets to Bitcoin. Satoshi has no ego problem, and has left it. For all other projects, the ego of the DEV's is too big, so that they want to have a permanent influence. It is important to them to be in the foreground. That's the difference. Satoshi = stands 100% for humanity, has no desire for attention himself. Everyone else = think of themselves, and want attention. Maxis can't think clearly. #Bitcoin $BTC
The Rollup@therollupco

Jean says Bittensor drama isn’t fatal but exposes a major flaw in founder-led projects: “The issue is retention. There is a lot of talent in Bittensor, and right now, there’s a way for them to leave.” “No matter how decentralized a protocol is, the founder will always have some influence.” “There are probably a thousand people who’ve tried to fork Ethereum, and nobody follows them—because when Vitalik speaks, people listen.”

The new Bittensor proposal is retarded Owners already only get 18%, forcing them to lock tokens to not be fucked due to governance because we had one ‘bad actor’ is retardio at best Owners should get more, why otherwise would talented people build on top of bittensor when they can get much more elsewhere without handcuffs? @const_reborn lets organise a twitter spaces where i will proof you doubters wrong

Inference is the New Oil 10x cheaper inference cost BUT usage increases by 30x The rise of AI agent harnesses (OpenClaw, Hermes) drastically increased the inference usage — billions of tokens burnt everyday (and not stopping anytime soon) Anthropic banned the usage of harnesses with Claude subscription, saving compute/inference for enterprise clients + for training Mythos (the next frontier model) Open-weight labs experience much higher demand due to cheap/efficient inference, optimized for long running workflows Decentralized AI labs found initial PMF from offering token subsidy-driven inference infra + private AI moat. Token alignment & unique perpetual credits further lock-in users The economics of AI across Closed AI labs, Open-weight labs, and DeAI labs are changing fast. "Gone are the days when players compete on intelligence alone" Today, it's all about feeding a massive fleet of token-hungry agents while anchoring a customer base that can’t afford to leave Read the Full piece on Substack [Link in bio]

The $TAO dump wasn't a rug. It was a response. The real story behind the $TAO dump is finally out and it has nothing to do with a team going rogue. Jacob Steeves, Bittensor's co-founder, unilaterally: 1. Paused emissions on Covenant AI's subnets, killing their revenue 2. Stripped their control of their own community channels 3. Declared their infrastructure deprecated No vote. No Senate approval. No transparent process. Just one man's decision. So what did the Templar team do? They sold 37k $TAO worth $10M on the open market. Not a rug. A message. When a foundation can pause your revenue, silence your community and deprecate your work overnight with zero governance what exactly did you build on? Not a decentralized protocol. A landlord's property. This is the centralization tax every builder in crypto eventually pays. The question isn't why Templar dumped. The question is: why does a decentralized AI network still have a single point of human failure? $TAO holders deserve an answer.

Btw i should address some of the points in the article which AI slop influencers are now repeating. > I suspended emissions to his subnets I do not have the ability to suspend emissions. What i did do is sell some of my alpha holdings on his three subnets, because they were not running, and were on near 100% burn code. This changed the emission the same way all buys and sells on Bittensor do. I don’t have any privilege beyond what normal TAO holders have. > I deprecated Covenant’s channels and removed moderation rights No, Samuel specifically deprecated his own channels which he did via a pinned comment and also a Twitter post. To be clear, he is talking about a discord channel. > I removed his ability to moderate his community Sam was deleting posts in his channel of genuine, honest criticism. I removed that ability temporarily and then reinstated it later. I did not remove his moderator role. I simply stopped him from deleting posts from others in his channels. > “deprecating infrastructure” Not even sure what this one means. > large visible token sales Not large. Less than 1% of what i had invested in his teams. Visibility is impossible to avoid in my position. I reserve my right to buy and sell tokens which is what underpins the entire system of dTao. Anything else?
