@DublinCommuters But equally there are no Gardai ever to be seen. And they’re not targeting the resellers selling them. So I’d say nothing will really happen here. All these are are words on paper without enforcement.

@mlverney It’s a very strange rule that’s full of ambiguity… This is the actual wording of the rule from the rule book. Nothing in there about the 13m line or having possession / control over the ball. Too much pressure on the referee in this decision I think. Need overhauling

Devil's advocate here - if that's not a black card, then it shouldn't be a penalty either as it's outside the 13m line!
