Despite the commercial success of The Odyssey movie by Christopher Nolan, it will be forgotten in less than 10 years, and hardly anyone will talk about it.
There is a reason why the original story has persisted for longer than 2700 years, longer than Christianity has existed. Culture will change, and the current obsession over demonizing toxic "male" narratives will end like a bad trend, and people will call this movie a terrible mistake in the end. The cultural programming that revered the original lasted far longer than the current gynocentric fad.
Plenty of bad movies were commercial successes, and today, no one talks about them. For example, Transformers: Age of Extinction made over a billion dollars in 2014, and yet no one talks about it only 12 years later. Same with Jurassic World: Dominion, which made over a billion in 2022, and yet no one talks about it only 4 years later.
