@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson Then he should have gone that route. Period. These cases you threw out there did. With appeals it took them more than a decade to get payouts but they followed the law. Trump played this game with OUR money when he knew the judge was about to throw out his case

@amdestefano @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson 😂😂😂 Trump has a great case and could have added many other things to it. The DoJ Trump also represented a class. One low level judge could have his doubts but any attempt to throw it out would have been reversed on appeals. Sorry. Read up and study up.

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson BUT HE RAN ON SAYING HE WOULD RELEASE THEM!! So much for promises made, promises kept, amirite?!? How's the lower prices on Day 1 going for you? Looking at the polls I'd start to crawl back under that rock he called you out from under. Pipe down and take several seats. FFS 🤦‍♀️

The is no law that says someone has to release their taxes. That is ignorant. Trump could have also sued for the “Russia, Russia, Russia” hoax that caused him and the country serious damage. The irs criminality was an easier conduit to serve the same purpose. Trump will not be “disbursing” anything and it will be handled just a well or better than the Obama slush fund.

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson These are the same taxes Trump promised HE would release if he won in 2016 then didn't. He tried to pull a runaround by having his own acting AG "settle" with a $1.8b slush fund for Trump to disperse without any visibility into who the money goes to.

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson You surely cannot be this willfully ignorant. Trump suing for $10b because his taxes were leaked (alone with many others) by a CONTRACTOR who is in prison. Happened under trump's 1st admin & was tried & convicted under Biden.

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson It was a class action lawsuit! It went through the courts. Individuals then had to prove they should get money disbursed. This is not the whataboutism you're trying to make it. Just admit your original comment was made hoping no one would stop to research it. You are losing...

@amdestefano @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson The courts did not decide on individually approved claimants in the Obama era “slush fund”. There existed a process where claim were made, Evaluated by a group, and the leftovers were handed over to favored NGOs.

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson Appointing 5 hand picked Board members to hand out money is not even remotely the same as taking the case in front of a judge and letting the courts decide. If a president can't be charged with a crime while in ofc, they sure as shit shouldn't be able to sue the govt they run

The term “slush fund” is in the eye of the beholder. Trump settled his lawsuit for the DOJ to create this new fund for purposes of people to make claims, they must be approved. Same exact thing that the Obama DOJ did. They decided to settle for past mistakes and a fund was created for people to make claims against. Somehow , favored NGOs got the claim leftovers. And trust me your use of AI needs a little work.

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson When cases are put through the court and the payout is approved in Congress, that does not equal in any way a slush fund used by the president at that time. People that support Trump feel they were wronged? Go through the courts like the cases you cited. That's not what Trump did

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson I'm good with Gemini & invite you to read the WHOLE story on these 2 cases which shows that these cases were court awarded settlements with congressionally appropriated money for judgments made through the courts. Never a slush fund. 🤦‍♀️ Now do Trump. g.co/gemini/share/6…

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson Your information was incomplete at best. This money was disbursements to communities impacted by predatory lending practices given either directly through the banks or the govt from penalties paid by banks. Please show where any money given was provided by taxpayers. I'll wait.

There is this handy thing called Grok.. ever heard of it. It is here to help, educate you. Forget the banks, • Keepseagle v. Vilsack (Native American farmers/ranchers, 2010–2011)
$760 million total: $680 million in damages + up to $80 million in loan forgiveness. Paid via Judgment Fund. (Residual ~$380 million later distributed, including to nonprofits.) • Pigford II (Black farmers, 2010 settlement, funded 2010)
$1.25 billion total ($1.15 billion new appropriation + $100 million prior). Direct payments and debt relief to late claimants via claims process.

@ComputerSageJAB @MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson Let's see proof of that. And that wasn't taxpayer money. After the banks were bailed out they were made to pay back penalties either directly or through HUD approved non-profits that worked in community housing efforts as reparations for their policies impacts on communities

@MartinBerliner @TheRickWilson This fund is no different than the billions Eric Hikder and Obama directed billions in settlement $$$ to allied non-profits, and Dems have routinely forced gov’t payouts to their activists.

@FormrRepublican @TomM7621 @allenanalysis Don't forget about Al Franken and Katie Hill. We took Swalwell out over a weekend. Republicans kicked out fraud George Santos but even that took a year because little Mike Johnson needed his vote. The hypocrisy is disgusting.

@scamptres @Jacob_Osiason But he promised to show his taxes if he won in 2016 just like every other modern president has and then, when he won, he reneged. So he can't be charged with a crime while POTUS but can sue the government he controls and basically take whatever he wants?!? No effing way!

I will not be paying my taxes this year if this actually happens. $1.7 Billion dollars, negotiated by Trump's DOJ, as a settlement for a baseless lawsuit for $10B of taxpayer money. $1.7 Billion #Taxdollars will now be going to individuals pardoned of crimes on January 6th against police officers, and @POTUS's inner circle. Great way to increase the #Deficit even more is by getting everyone not to pay taxes. Good luck funding anything without our Capital Gains #Tax

@mcclorey5875 @DemocraticWins What's your point? Dems have been trying for a decade to pass zero gerrymandering laws anywhere and ZERO Republicans vote for it. So you expect Dems to just keep playing nice and accepting it? Maybe a decade ago but the last 10+ years of playing nice are over

🚨 BOMBSHELL ON THE HOUSE FLOOR: JAMES COMER EXPOSES HAKEEM JEFFRIES’ CAMPAIGN EMAIL TO JEFFREY EPSTEIN! 🚨 Comer brought the receipts: A 2013 email from Hakeem Jeffries’ own campaign directly soliciting campaign cash from Epstein and inviting him to dinner. “The second communication was this email right here where Hakeem Jeffries’ campaign reached out directly to Jeffrey Epstein soliciting campaign dollars.” Democrats spent years screaming that Trump was covering up the Epstein list. Now we have two Democrat Congress members caught colluding directly with Epstein and “Brooklyn’s Barack” begging him for money. Every time they try to hunt Trump, the evidence boomerangs right back at them. The swamp is being exposed. 🇺🇸

@SweetXyience @DemocraticWins Good grief. I lived in LA in the 80s & there were parts that looked like this. Same with NYC, Chicago and all the other big cities where we have a large population. There will always be homeless. Nothing to do with the governors. Has everything to do with poverty & mental health
