I can see my boat from here. Woodbridge in Suffolk right now. What a gorgeous place this is. I shall be exploring this area a lot over the coming months. Sutton Hoo is just over to the left. I definitely have to visit that. The sound of oystercatchers and a view of boats. Perfect

Mornin’. And on this Bank Holiday morning I’m here, in a really very pleasant train station waiting room. The astute observers amongst you will have noticed that there’s a life jacket on the bench. It’s mine. I’m on my way to pick up the sailing yacht I’ve bought. When I say yacht, I want you to try to keep your expectations of what that means under control. It is a very small yacht, but as I’ve been saying to women for many years; size isn’t everything.

Good morning you gorgeous little bunch of cherubs. Sunrise over the canal. This was an actually in March in Hackney. The thing with living on a boat, is you are so much more connected to nature. You’re actually in the scene, not looking down on it. Anyway, have a fantastic Sunday. I’m photographing a wedding today in London so I shall need to look smart. I’ll even wear a jacket. Speaking of wonderful events, I hope you haven’t forgotten it’s my birthday on the 15th May? Traditionally, most people give £100, but don’t feel bad if you can’t afford that. Tommy is putting on a big parade in London on the 16th to celebrate my birthday and so I hope to see you all there. Cheers 🥂

Stood in the Post Office now and a young guy has just come to the counter next to me and asked to cash a cheque. Cash a cheque?! I thought I must have time travelled back to the 80s for a moment. Also; I’m wearing shorts today. Just a glimpse of them here, as I didn’t want to get you too excited.

Ok, today I’ve been on a big adventure. I travelled here to Woodbridge in Suffolk. I’d never been before, but the village is gorgeous. It also has a beautiful, traditional working boatyard. Also, that boatyard has yachts in it and I may just have bought one. So now I’m in the local pub having a glass of wine and watching YouTube videos of how to sail. It can’t be that hard. I’ve also looked at charts of how to get from here to The Solent on the South Coast of England and I have to say, the crossing from here to Margate looks a bit blooming scary, with the tides and the wind farms. I have met one round the world sailor before, so if she’s reading this and fancies a little jaunt, then I would be very grateful! Anyway, here’s to life’s adventures. Cheers 🥂

On my way to North Wales yesterday, near Frodsham, I saw a convoy of 8 or 9 identical silver Rolls/Bentleys all with reg plates like this, all main beams on, shifting pretty rapidly.. Bizarrely, on the way home, I saw them again on the M62.. Any idea what/who?
