@adamemedia1 China will be the next economic super power. China knows it and they are playing their hand - hard. Countries best understand this to position themselves long term. Thinking 20-50 years out.

@onchainrapist It’s really exciting when you feel you’re progressing or in an environment where you feel progress is possible. It’s one of the greatest feelings I’ve had.

In a stable money society, the only thing a person needs to know is to spend less than he earns, and to save. Such a society is perfect for the middle class that just wants to build a home and continue the society. And it’s better for interest rates to be moderately high, so he can earn bank interest - because the average person has no time or inclination to engage in stock and real estate speculation. Higher interest rates also mean house prices are lower - because they are a place to live and not a speculative investment. The only people who win on low interest rates are sophisticated schemers who can borrow at zero and make wild investment bets. If they go bad they walk away or file for bankruptcy on the special purpose entity set up for the play. If they score - they take all the gains, and then go on TV and claim special knowledge to credulous CNBC hosts. We are living in a casino capitalism society that works against middle class savers who just want to contribute to their community.

@CardinalWayne @JeffreyRWRath The same pattern exists in Latin America. This is not just a Canada thing. There is no middle ground with these people. Get it through your thick skull. They want pay back, ALL of it.

Treaties are as fundamental as is the constitution in Canada, that you try and demean and diminish them doesn't change that. I've said it for 20 years and I'll tell you guys again if you were serious you would stop trying to demean First Nations and get them on your side. Because you both want the same thing but you can't work together. Now what judge is essentially told you you have to

Do you have a head injury? Have you not heard the CEOs from companies like Enbridge and Cenovus say that they won't invest because of the Liberal government policies?

Really wish there was a lot more focus on all the clean energy opportunities in Canada. So many to build but all the oxygen in the room is sucked up talking about a pipeline that no private sector proponent will risk their own money on! Let’s win in energy transition! 💪

For those that know, know and for those that don't... Eric Nuttall is a Trader trying to Max his returns for his clients. Do not expect Eric to hold companies as other long term investors do, expect him to trade as the circumstances change. Eric has held some companies for long periods of time such as MEG Energy and also been in and out of some quickly. I personally have followed Eric for years and we all are entitled to our opinion... What I find separates Eric from many is his integrity. Eric is not always right, none of us are though he has conviction on his trades and the reasoning to back him up.

While U.K.'s PM Starmer is facing growing pressure to resign amid a sluggish U.K. economy, PM Carney’s popularity is at a record high — despite Canada arguably being in worse shape on several key metrics, including unemployment, productivity, private-sector growth, and food inflation. Wonder why...

@HammerTime_11 @PierrePoilievre How much more economic destruction does it take for people - fathers - like you to wake up and see we're headed in the wrong direction? How far economically do we have to push the average Canadian until there is a revolt in this country? Wake up friend.

The head of TC Energy says Mexico is eating Canada’s lunch on pipelines, with 8 month permitting times. That’s right: a Canadian company says it is far easier to build in Mexico than here in Canada. How long are we going to believe the illusion that the Carney Liberals will change anything?

It’s interesting in Vancouver and BC how some people now treat virtually any major infrastructure, technology, or economic development project as inherently evil or “neoliberal.” A city still needs jobs, investment, infrastructure, energy, and industries tied to the future economy. The real conversation should be how to build and regulate these things responsibly, while also addressing affordability and inequality.

The first Canada match in Toronto is 4 weeks from Friday. I’m told at least 3500-4000 tickets are still unsold. Canada Soccer put tickets for all 3 Group matches in all 3 price categories on sale today. My friend sent me a screenshot after logging on to examine the prices. I get the once-in-lifetime value of this, I truly do - but there’s a been a clear combination of gouging, AND miscalculating the market. They’ve been unable to sell 45K tickets in Toronto/55K in VAN. Imagine if it was 70K+, like most of the NFL stadiums. The public will always set the price in the modern marketplace - not the other way around.

Dividing people based on race is how David Eby won last time. I believe we are all equal. When we defend our principles - equality for all - we can stand proud and demonstrate to British Columbians that we are ready to govern. I'm ready to defeat David Eby and the NDP. Let’s get B.C. back on track.
