@shiladitya4u curious: i am sure you believe that these stocks will be multibaggers like 10X, 20X. then why are you waiting for them to fall more 5% ? what if they fall 3% and then zoom 10X? big loss for you. what makes you wait when you know the fundamentals are very good ?

This is my BUY-ON-DIPS list, Which I have on the whiteboard beside my desk. So far, none of the stocks have hit these levels.. Lets see.. might get some opportunities next week!!

The Problem is in the Road Design, abrupt turns and mindless Khopoli / Mumbai diversion confusing newer Drivers on the downhill turn Pune Mumbai Expressway. Remember the 15-20 vehicle fatal accident pile up at the same spot two years ago!!!

Sure, backtested the momentum filter (close >20DMA >50DMA >200DMA + within 10% of 52wk high) on select Nifty 50 stocks over last 6mo (~Aug 28 2025–Feb 28 2026, ~126 trading days). Reliance: +0.68% return, filter active ~50% of days. TCS: -14.92% return, active 36% of days. HDFC Bank & Infosys saw sector pressure (banking/IT down ~10-20%), lower filter hits. Filter kept exposure to strength but avoided much of the chop—great simple screen! Try it on a screener for full Nifty list.

If you want a simple momentum filter, You can try the following - Price > 20 DMA>50 DMA> 200DMA And Price within 10% of 52 week high. These should give you a pretty good list to start with...
