यह CAG रिपोर्ट जो यहां पेश की गई है, यह पुलिंदा है उनकी धोखाधड़ी का, दिल्ली की जनता के साथ में। दिल्ली को फ्लाईओवर चाहिए थे, दिल्ली को सड़कें चाहिए थीं, पर उन्होंने अपने लिए फाइव स्टार महल बनवाया। दिल्ली को इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर चाहिए था, पर उन्होंने वर्ल्ड क्लास इंटीरियर डेकोरेशन करवाया। कभी ‘जन सुनवाई’ नाम का शब्द दिल्ली ने 11 साल में सुना ही नहीं, कभी किसी से उन्होंने बात नहीं की। कोई नियम, कायदा, कानून, टेंडर, प्रक्रिया, सैंक्शन, कैबिनेट! इन सब चीजों से उन्हें कोई मतलब नहीं था, वो सबसे ऊपर थे। शहंशाह थे, शहंशाह-ए-आलम थे, बजट दिल्ली की जनता के लिए कम था, उनके कम्फर्ट के लिए पूरा था। ये दास्तान है दिल्ली की जनता की, दिल्ली की जनता की मजबूरी की। पर आज हमारी सरकार यह सुनिश्चित कर रही है कि दिल्ली की जनता के एक-एक पैसे का उपयोग बेहतर हो, दिल्ली के हित में हो, और दिल्ली के विकास के लिए हो। मैं यह चाहती हूं कि इस रिपोर्ट पर सही कार्रवाई हो और इन गुनहगारों को सजा मिलनी चाहिए और इसको PAC में भेजा जाए।
