Das öffentlich-rechtliche Portal "buten un binnen" von Radio Bremen hat mal wieder zugeschlagen: Unter dem Titel „Weshalb eine Bremerin vom Christentum zum Islam wechselte“ erzählt der Sender die Geschichte einer 20-jährigen Konvertitin. Die junge Frau konvertierte 2023 zum Islam und hat seither „Ruhe und Frieden“ gefunden. Fünfmal täglich beten („wie Meditation“), kein Alkohol, Kopftuch, großer Traum von einer Mekka-Reise. Alles wird als bereichernde, disziplinierende und sinnstiftende Entscheidung dargestellt. Sogar die anfangs geschockte Mutter kommt am Ende zum Schluss: „Ich sehe, daß meiner Tochter mit diesem Glauben etwas Gutes geschehen ist.“ Der Artikel liest sich wie eine klassische Heldenreise: Das Christentum war „eine schöne Religion“, aber „nicht der letzte Schritt“. Der Islam hingegen liefert genau das, was gefehlt hat: Struktur, Disziplin und innere Ruhe. Ein warmer, empathischer Ton, schöne Bilder, keine kritischen Fragen. Und ein intoleranter (rechter?) Verwandter darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Wenn es jedoch ums Christentum geht, dann berichtet „buten un binnen“ gewöhnlich lieber über Austritte, Skandale und Schrumpfung. Doch mit jeder Ramadan-Beleuchtung in deutschen Städten, mit Weihnachtsfesten, die zu „Jahresendfesten“ umgestaltet werden, mit unbedingt schweinefleischloser Kost und dem Kopftuch in öffentlichen Einrichtungen oder mit Geschlechtertrennung bei Veranstaltungen geben wir unsere jüdisch-christliche, westlich geprägte Kultur schrittweise auf und nennen das Vielfalt und Toleranz. Dabei ist das doch nur Unterwerfung. Und der politische Islam wird in seinem Machtanspruch mit jeden noch so vermeintlich unbedeutenden und toleranten Zugeständnis immer stärker und fordernder.

@Cartidise That's the point. Android is supposed to become useless without Google. No bootloader unlock, certified devices, L1 and now this with the apps/sideload. GMS will still be included on Chinese devices in 2026 since a lot of things just won't work without it. Unreal!
