We are struggling to keep up! The South campaign is raising around $5,000 a day and to get 250 meals of rice are costing around $2,650 and 10 pots of lentils or burgul a day are costing approximately $3,600 to $5,000 a day. Donate: chuffed.org/project/113222… This is without taking into account tents that currently cost $356 per tent or our medical initiatives that cost around $5,000 every 10 days. We also have labor and transport costs that need to be paid cash with a commission of 40%, and transport prices are increasing by the day due to the lack of gas. Also recently our team in the South has been telling us that we need to do water trucks and that the camps they visit don’t have water. It is something that people ask for all the time. We at the Sameer Project are really struggling with deciding where the money should go: water, food, medication or shelter - all lifesaving initiatives. We need to reach at least $10,000 a day for the South campaign to provide some of each of those.
