The enemy within.

Flew home from Italy yesterday. I knew the election results before I left, but it was so hard to be without internet for nine hours!

I had to pay to pee for the first time on this Italian trip. I handed the attendant a euro, and he gave me this slip of paper and turned on the light in a stall. I was amused to see the initials SIT.

Spent an hour searching for my favorite pair of jeans, which I haven’t worn since May. Found them in a drawer of swimsuits. Of course!

Yesterday my husband noticed a dead cat in our neighbor’s yard. Today it is in our yard.

When I got my flu shot, I noticed the pharmacist had a sign with his job title: Chaos Coordinator.

I went on a museum’s cemetery walk last night with 30 other people. Two police cars arrived to investigate a call that college students were causing trouble. They were delighted to instead see a bunch of retirees stumbling about in the dark.
