St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre in its current form lifts the soul. As soon as you turn the corner coming from Kildare Street onto St. Stephen’s Green, you feel uplifted by the opulence of the shopping centre and the flowers on the windows. Surely, the people of Dublin, left, right, centre, wealthy, poor, South side and North side can put their differences aside and come together to stop this egregious act of architectural and cultural vandalism from happening. It has been in its current form since 1988, it replaced the former Dandelion Market and was designed to complement the nearby Georgian and Victorian surroundings, it has withstood the test of time.
