Don’t believe I’ve ever witnessed a #Leafs hire so thoroughly written off without being given a chance. Whatever your definition of “fair”, this doesn’t seem to fit. #LeafsForever #MLSE

Mayor Chow has been twiddling her thumbs while TTC riders face open drug use and violence on their trips. Last week, we called for a zero tolerance policy for drugs on transit, and we are glad to see the province step in to ensure that it is safe for everyone.
Doug Ford@fordnation

Ontario transit riders have had enough of dangerous, illegal and open drug use on our subways, buses and streetcars. We’re bringing in tough new rules to crack down on people using drugs on public transit so we can keep our communities safe.

@Jay_D_Rosehill Well… it would seem both Pelley and Simmons spoke to 20+ people each and there was zero overlap 😜🙄… or someone is not being truthful?… or the cloud of arrogance from 67 ish onward is still blinding people in this organization…. Simmons isn’t popular but he does get info!

.@CraigJButton summed a lot of what I heard privately on reaction to John Chayka and Mats Sundin heading #Leafs hockey ops. "Confounding." "Perplexed." "No record of accomplishment. None." Feels like Sundin was a human shield on Monday. Full episode: youtube.com/watch?v=3TJoiI…

So why is the Ford government making rules for municipal public transportation? It's because Mayor Chow either won't or can't clean up the rampant open drug use on the TTC. Toronto doesn't have to be like this. Vote for change. VOTE FOR @BradMBradford.

"Developer" money. His wife is a developer, she sits on a BILD committee with Alana DeGasperis. This guy below, Quinto Annabale, is the lawyer for "Vaughan Working Families" which helped install Ford in 2018. Again, DeGasperis is involved in that. Mob Hospital also involved.

It's really hard to fathom where the Bradford support is originating from. Track record? 👀 slick campaign materials? 🤷🏼‍♀️ An anti-Chow machine assembled behind him? 🎯 Let's remember, this guy got half the votes of Chloe Brown (disclosure: with whom I worked) last time, and just a handful more than infamous Chris Sky. Why are so many (conservative) people coming out to say "he's our guy"? Does #Toronto really need another four years of Tory-lite? I am far from a fan of what Chow has done in office. It's been very disappointing to see so little happen for people who *desperately* need support the office of Mayor has not even nominally provided, but that does not mean that Bradford is a direction the city should go in. No one seems to be able to provide a single reason why it should. It's really depressing to see such a terribly thin field so far at a time when the city really needs some leadership with conviction.

@andmax78 @Graff2023 spadina - ft.york.... my councilor is the very inattentive ausma malik who is soley focused on geopolitics instead of the brutal traffic congestion and the hollowing out of small businesses in her ward .. the gritty grimy facts of life for a municipal politician

Bradford has been a terrible councillor - he does not listen to residents, he does not help residents, he is useless. The only good thing about him running for mayor is it makes it certain he will not break his promise to not run for a 3rd term. I don't dislike Chow but she promised to be tough on Ford then chickened out, and we have the idiocies of Sankofa Square etc., but no way would I vote for Bad Brad. thestar.com/opinion/contri…

I called for the ban of all political parties at the municipal level. I had jack Layton when he was an mp order municipal licensing to charge me with illegal signs on my campaign office because I was running Against his son. He seemed to have all the media promote his own son. The corruption is incredible in Toronto

Progress Toronto's previous executive director is Mayor Olivia Chow's Chief of Staff. Progress Toronto is the organization that just submitted an Integrity Commissioner complaint against @BradMBradford, Chow's main political rival. This feels a lot like American style politics.

Apparently Josh Matlow didn't like me pointing out that he is on the left-wing of the political spectrum (100% true) and that his is an ally of Olivia Chow (also 100% true). So my cowardly, publicity clown city councillor has blocked me.
Love My 7 Wood@LoveMy7Wood

Is someone credible going to take on @JoshMatlow this October. St. Pauls desperately needs new representation who is not aligned with Olivia Chow and her failed left-wing economic and Jew hating policies.

Dr. Kate knows her tweet is deliberately misleading. Brad has nothing to do with these guys. That Turning Point tweet even says something like “we should ask him for an interview”… meaning they don’t know him! The left is throwing everything they can at Brad Bradford because they know Torontonians are tired of accepting less from this Mayor. They want to be proud of the city again. Right now, there is so much that needs fixing. They’re desperate and trying to distract from Mayor Chow’s record.
Kate Dupuis@DrKateTO

Very concerning to see this endorsement of my #BeachesEastYork councillor @BradMBradford. Will Brad speak out against this support from Turning Point? Or is his hard-right u-turn from a “progressive” bike-lane loving, farmers market going, police defunding, nice guy complete?
