Every bull market needs new cult founders to build story around. Zuck, Page and Brin, Bezos are tired narratives. We need new young blood. Who are some contenders?

If you read one book this summer, let it be this. Your mind will thank you later. Stray Reflections is an antidote to the great angst of modern life. strayreflectionsbook.com

I just don't see how CPI or core CPI stays positive. I think real rates will go up. That is the worst possible outcome. Debt + Deflation = A Ticket to Bankruptcy.

Oil is deflationary. Soft commodities look like they are going to follow suit and the US farmer is sadly going to be driven into bankruptcy, just like the shale patch... 1/

The consensus estimate for 2019 US Real GDP growth is currently 2.3%... Even better, #FOMC just upped their GDP forecast for 2019 to 2.2%. Yikes! This model suggests that number could be closer to 0% by Q1 2020. Similar negative outlook for earnings... #FedBehindTheCurve

NFIB Compensation Plans & the US output gap suggest that US wage growth could rise to 4.5%-5% YoY (currently 3.9%) before peaking in H1 ‘20. However, since ’86, the current deviation of AHE from trend is in the 94th percentile which has historically been consistent with a peak.
