@andrew_grantham I’m guessing it is Osh Paz! In which case, they’re the best in London. They do street food markets & have a restaurant on Lower Regent St, & also do the catering for events at @UZBinUK. Highly recommended.

@HawthorneSJJ I understand that the manufacturer checked a number a times that this was really what was wanted, as building trains without those things was seen by the rail industry as an unusual choice.

@HawthorneSJJ DfT decided that power sockets, wifi and seat back tables weren't needed. It eventually changed its mind, but while tables and wifi could be installed fairly easily, sockets would have needed to be designed in from the start.
First class (declassified at the back) has sockets.

Does @TLRailUK provide mobile charging points on its trains? They go from Brighton to Luton at least. None on my train to Brighton from East Croydon today. Curiously. @SouthernRailUK (same owners) always provides sockets. Left with 22% charge on the way back. Too low for comfort!
