@intj68 @jaysonyork I vote and preach biblically. So you obviously just judge based on false, outward appearances.

Funny how TGC gets blamed for people being pro-abortion. I've yet to see a post on TGC in support of abortion. Can anyone show me one?
Jayson York@jaysonyork
I don’t usually say many nice things about TGC, and I’m not gonna start today How completely blind do you have to be to not recognize that these statistics are, in large part, because of the very content that they, and others like them, have put out for the last decade?

@DrewFranklinKSR when was the last time UK took a charge? When was the last time they attempted to draw one?

@MitchBarnhartUK Did you go to LSU? Is this representative of the name on the front of the jersey? Fire Pope!

@DTrain_10 @vstyles17 Actually the officiating mechanic for NCAA
English

@andrewdyer @vstyles17 Please tell me you’re trolling. Because if that is actually the rule, it is completely bizarre.
English

@vstyles17 Only applies between the 20 yard lines, so out at 19 wouldn’t qualify.

There is so much in this statement, I’m not sure where to begin…probably at “radioactive” though!

#LetUsPray: Missouri Passes Law Allowing Homeschool Students to Tryout for Public School Activities
Due to a new bill that Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe signed into law, all public schools in Missouri will now be required to allow homeschool students to try out for their sports teams and other school activities. This specific piece of legislation, Senate Bill 63, was signed into law in early July and will go into effect on August 28, 2025.
Previously, state law in Missouri left it open to individual school districts to decide whether or not they wanted to allow homeschool students to participate in their sports programs and other activities. Furthermore, if a school district opted in, the district required the homeschool students to take at least two classes at the high school to be eligible to participate in their programs.
The new law not only requires all public schools in Missouri to allow homeschool students to participate in their activities, but it also drops the requirement for homeschool students to take at least two high school classes in order to be able to participate in school activities. These types of legislation are commonly referred to as "Tim Tebow Bills." Tebow was a homeschool student through high school but had the opportunity to play high school sports due to a Florida law allowing homeschool participation. He went on to win two national championships at Florida, win the Heisman trophy, and play in the NFL.
In Kentucky, during our last legislative session, there was a vote on a similar proposal, HFA 1 to SB 120 from Rep. Steve Doan (District 69 - Boone and Kenton Counties). Unfortunately, the House voted it down by a vote of 26-32, with 42 members not voting at all. Fewer than 20 states, including Kentucky, still have total bans on homeschool students participating in public school sports and school activities.
Father, we are thankful for this new law that will be going into effect in Missouri that will open up wonderful opportunities for homeschool students. Lord, we pray that similar legislation will soon be passed here in our Commonwealth. Father, may Kentucky be a state where parents can truly direct the education of their children. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

@NateSchlomann I don't think anyone who knows my life and ministry could objectively call me a leftist.
English

@andrewdyer It matters a lot. Do you think this person is good or bad for the SBC? Are we in substantive agreement but you're arguing over technicalities, or are you just a leftist?
English

It's absolutely absurd how people like this are given positions in the SBC. His views are revolting to the average conservative American - so the average SBCer.
And yet our past failed Presidents - Greear, Litton, and Barber - filled our trustee boards with these progressives.

@NateSchlomann Presumably you and I both voted in favor of the recommendation making him a trustee. My opinion about any individual trustee's views don't matter and certainly don't need to be shared on social media. If the actions of the board are problematic, there are ways to deal with that.
English

@andrewdyer We know how it works, Andrew. They are put forward by the nominating committee that is appointed by the committee on committees that is appointed by the Pres.
The real question is, do you think this man should have been made a trustee? That’s a serious question.
