The other drawback of X is that content you produce is rarely indexed by LLMs other than grok. So you're seen and chronicled in the X universe but invisible to other models. That's not great for people trying to create durable knowledge bases that are useful to others.
Bryan Johnson@bryan_johnson

When I'm out and about in the world, people recognize me from IG or YouTube at a 20:1 ratio to X. Outside of SF, an X user in the wild is a rare sighting which is strange given how much surface area X seems to occupy. The X paradox: where is everyone?

The loudest story about AI is a lonely one. One person with an army of chatbots. Other humans are friction. That gets the future wrong. The best things aren’t built alone. In a moment of change, we want to remind the world (and ourselves) what Notion stands for: — Think Together

@NY_Scoop Why is the videographer not calling an ambulance or assisting, is the footage more important than human life, for a son, brother father, grandad etc!? You are part of the problem I’m afraid.

Bronx: Morrison Avenue & Westchester Avenue, a chaotic dispute between a bar bouncer and a group of junkies turned ugly and violent, unfolding like a scene out of a movie. The incident began inside a a bar, where the bouncer attempted to remove the group after they were acting disorderly, but they refused to leave. The bouncer then physically removed them out. A passerby stepped in and escalated the situation, turning it physical with one of the individuals. The confrontation quickly spilled out onto the street and moved away from the bar, where it continued independently of the original dispute. Video shows one person being thrown to the ground and knocked unconscious while others continue fighting nearby. The same passerby who escalated the situation is then seen approaching the unconscious victim, reaching directly into his pocket, pulling out his wallet, and robbing him. The bouncer is seen trying to intervene but is unsuccessful. The suspect opens the wallet, finds it empty, throws it to the ground, and say: "He got no money either way. He broke." He then targets another individual, knocks him to the ground, deploys pepper spray, and flees the scene, claiming they were attacking him. The agitator the makes his way onto the subway, jumps the turnstile and fled with a train.

So this is interesting. Not only did I delete my OpenAI account, I've blocked some of the top OpenAI accounts on here and so I rarely get news directly about OpenAI. And I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. Shows that OpenAI is increasingly becoming irrelevant. Certainly, not like it used to be. If you wanted to be "in the know" about AI, you had to follow OpenAI very closely. But now they aren't even doing the most interesting stuff.

For 20 years (a whole generation) we've seen blacks at "front at center" in every stock images, google result, imagen generator, canvas design, many movies and tv shows (even when it's historically absurd). That's the equivalent of at least 100 years in pre digital era. And you whine because @elonmusk doesn't perpetuate that for longer? Your request has been evaluated and denied.

Noelia’s euthanasia for depression, at just 25 years old, took place in her room at Sant Camil Hospital at 6 p.m. in Barcelona. Her final wishes were to be elegantly dressed with light makeup. She also requested to be alone when she died. Doctors injected a toxin into her veins and she stopped breathing. A rape victim who was failed by her own country. Rest in peace angel. 🙏

Some initial tips for prompting Lyria 3: - prompt your musical style separately to your lyrics - prompt for the subject of your lyrics, and set context for the lyrics for best results - you don’t need to specify instruments, but if you want something unusual, it works, like a sax solo - you can use timestamps for specific things, like “chorus at 1min”, or “sax solo at 2:20” - you can prompt for interjections, like movie samples or quotes, works well with a drop - you can prompt a spoken word cinematic deep voiced movie trailer, and it usually works Try weird things, like “anything but music”, this model has some really interesting edges.

@steipete Bahahaha It's silly, but I'm glad you get that type of emails, though. No matter if you have any legal or financial responsibility, You should constantly post all the current flaws and what doesn't do, regardless of the model. There's no nuance, all hype.

Today, we’re releasing a feature that allows Claude to control your computer: Mouse, keyboard, and screen, giving it the ability to use any app. I believe this is especially useful if used with Dispatch, which allows you to remotely control Claude on your computer while you’re away.

I think you get worse results from LLMs if your messages are full of typos and grammatical mistakes. I’m sure this would not show up in benchmarks, but I still believe it. The models respect you less and become lazier as a result.

Obsidian brains...is there a way that you could create an Obsidian vault & injest hundreds of hours of transcriptions into the Obsidian Vault to create a specialist brain. Then when you want to get advice from your agent on that topic, you can point it to that obsidian brain?

I see non-engineers have a higher tendency to humanize their agents, give them personalities, and get AI psychosis It's a slippery slope. Do NOT give your agents human names or personalities, especially not of the opposite gender. it's like giving human names to pets On the other end, I realized engineers tend to do the opposite. We also refer to agents as clankers, as if to make them know their place. That's because we have mechanical sympathy and have different expectations of these manufactured products (even though they contain glimmers of human soul)
