@Rosa_taxidriver If you watch even a few UConn games, you'll notice they foul on almost every defensive possession or press. It's nuts. Reaching, body bumps, slapping arms, all from bad guarding position. They dare the refs to call them on it, and that "style" finally caught up with them.
@gpmrntz@Romancane Please. Mendoza had an inspired concussed run and almost nothing else to speak of. Indiana won this game fair and square, but it was on formulaic college football fundamentals and not with an actually better team. Canes, get your money in the league 💲
@Romancane That's true. And he shouldn't have thrown that ball / made a bad throw (short).
But he didn't loose this game. Special teams did. No Lucas in 1st half hurt.
And Mendoza played like the Heisman winner he is.
@Agrimonious@BostonGlobe Oddly, just went down the Odie Henderson rabbit hole myself. With (enthusiastic) exception to Highest 2 Lowest, and perhaps a smidge more vitriol for Anora, he is faultless.
Wishing Odie Henderson at @BostonGlobe a very good day for being the only honest movie critic in these hard times where it's not longer safe to tell Timothee the truth. I am very afraid for this reviewer because I genuinely believe Tim will come after him with a knife.
@FirstDownMediaa@candylamb47 Barham could've been thrown (probably the lack of actual contact saved him), Smith was held on this route AND he also lost possession bobbling over the goal line and didn't regain possession until OOB. #GoBlue but also they call the hold and it's still OSU ball 🤷♂️
WOW a crazy route from #OhioState ⭐️ WR Jeremiah Smith.
But he fumbles the ball and runs out of bounds.
Some how this was ruled a touchdown.
Refs are blowing this game for #Michigan#Cheating
@yxzyzzyx Yep, exactly why he lost. So frustrating to watch. I don't think he came to the net proactively a single time or hit one drop shot when up in a rally at the baseline. So many of those were floating back as potential easy winners, but he just let Novak reset every time.
Fritz needs to learn to mix it up. Hit a slice or come to net every once in a blue moon. He never moves off the baseline or hits a slice. Djokovic seemed to struggle with the 1 or 2 he actully hit
@DjokovicFan_ One of the tighter straight set matches I've seen. He dictated many rallies, but just couldn't carry the momentum when Sinner was down in multiple service games and fumbled an ill-advised drop shot strategy. Credit to Sinner though, just plays such strong mistakes free tennis
Novak Djokovic has proven that he has the level to beat Jannik Sinner and any player in the world.
He just has to clean up those silly mistakes during crucial moments as they cost him the match.
See you at Wimbledon. 🌱
@TheB1rdm4n31@LakeShowYo Straight up, huh? Arms at a 45° angle, his right knee/thigh making clear contact, lands 2 ft away from his takeoff point. They let a lot go, sure, but this was not a good contest and was obviously a foul.
@LakeShowYo He’s straight up and the offensive player is leaning into him, how is that a foul? FYI I’m a lakers fan so I don’t care one way or the other but come on man lol
@andyb_bravo Hi Andy, thanks for sharing your comments with us. We'd be happy to help out. Please send us a DM to provide more details about what’s happening with your Google Fi case.
@googlefi Hi there, I'm a long time Fi user who is attempting to transfer my existing phone number that was previously on a Fi plan to a new account, still on Google Fi but getting an error. Can share more info over DM. Case ID 1-9849000038828
the fake account that welcomes you to Gmail is 'Andy from Google' and my primary referent for that is Andy Rubin and boy did that give me a creepy vibe. maybe Google could pick another name...
@ClayTravis First half 4 fouls.
Second half....TWENTY SIX FOULS.
Was rooting Florida, but considering the above plus ending with a +8 PF difference when there was only 1 Houston late-game foul and 2 techs on FLA that by the book had to be called isn't a great look.
Refs called nothing in the first half. Second half every possession is a foul. How can players know what will be a foul with inconsistent reffing like this?
@Sge_kennyP@iam_johnw Was mildly rooting for FLA, but put this on 0.25x. Catch, lands 1-2, fine. Then steps out w/ left foot, steps again with left foot which would normally be fine BUT lifts his right pivot foot before taking that dribble. That's a travel that they'll never call.
@MarcHoak@JeffRHallock@TheFieldOf68 I guess you're in favor of every minor hand check being a foul call, every physical post up being a whistle, every offensive player giving a small bump on defense being an off foul. What a fun game we'd have! 4 secs left, rivalry game, pulled his foot out. That's a shit call.
@alex_carter1994@SJ_WooPig Obviously no problem for them to celebrate their son or Duke after that comeback (I'm a UNC alum and make no excuses for this year's team...it was a solid rivalry win in a hostile building). Slightly embarrassing is the "on his head" celebration after an uncontested dunk.
Yall don’t realize what the fans were probably saying to his parents all night. This was in the midst of a big run for Duke after UNC had took the lead and the momentum. This is Coop’s parents letting the UNC fans know that their son owns them. I would’ve done the same exact thing. 🤷🏻♂️
