@afneil @PoliceScotland invests gated and found no evidence against her. You should be very careful what you insinuate as could lead to you being investigated
English

And now he’s pleaded guilty to the whole caboodle. Does this mean he obstructed the investigation by lying for years?
Andrew Neil@afneil
The Peter Murrell/SNP embezzlement trial begins in Edinburgh today. It has taken Police Scotland and the Procurator Fiscal Service five years investigation and process — at a cost of >£2m — to get to here. All for a £1/2m embezzlement charge.
English

@RussellFindlay1 This is a serious allegation which @PoliceScotland obviously found no evidence of. You might be getting visit yourself and hopefully big blue tent in your back garden

Nicola Sturgeon and her crooked husband lived the high life using money stolen from their own people ...
And she knew NOTHING?
Aye right.

RECORD VIEW: SNP must cut waste before ordinary Scots pay price for £5bn budget black hole

@BenGrahamUK But how are you going to define what is overtime. If my contracted hours says I work 16 hours per week then anything over this is overtime and therefore tax is not due according to this policy. Totally unworkable policy
English

A political party proposes a tax cut for working people, and half the country doesn’t know how to react.
That’s how used we’ve become to Labour and the Conservatives constantly putting taxes up.
Reform UK’s plan to scrap tax on overtime would finally reward people who work extra hours instead of punishing them for it.
More money in the pockets of ordinary British workers is exactly the kind of policy this country has been crying out for.
Kate Ferguson@kateferguson4
Breaking news - a politician actually proposes to cut tax. Reform UK will stop taking workers for mugs and ban tax on overtime. Robert Jenrick writes for us on Reform UK's new policy...✏️ thesun.co.uk/news/39197128/…
English

@ZiaYusufUK So if my contracted hours are 16 hours per week and I do 10 hours extra per week will this be classed as overtime and therefore tax exempt.
English

The no tax on overtime announcement from Reform yesterday is a *starting gun*.
The incentives in this country are totally BROKEN and upside down.
Break into our country?
Free stuff for life.
Steal from a struggling store? 0 consequences.
Toil away for the best part of your life? Taxed to the eyeballs to pay for those who refuse to.
Reform will transform the incentive structure to reward the very best of Britain and punish the worst.
It will be glorious.
English

@JoaniReid Is that because it was set up to benefit your party and Scotland got wise to your branch office not working in Scotlands best interest and rejected you
English

This is an uncomfortable but necessary point.
Holyrood was meant to bring politics closer to working people. Too often, it has become a closed world of insiders and comfortable orthodoxies.
Class still shapes who gets heard in Scotland. We should say so.

@StockyMan115 She’s wrong. Oil and gas is reserved to WM where her party was in charge for 14 years during which time they told us oil was running out. Now their red Tory buddies have closed Grangemouth and we can’t refund our own oil

@Fyrishsunset But they told us oil was running out in 2014 so will they admit they lied then and they needed cash cow of oil for Englands deficit

Kemi Badenoch: Aberdeen is dying because of the SNP.
She couldn’t be more right. Anybody in Aberdeen and the Shire who voted SNP deserves nothing less than financial ruin.

English

@tihanygirl You are assuming all those who voted for those parties don’t want independence. At least with SNP it’s guaranteed they do. Also an independence referendum is more likely to have more voters as it’s a straightforward yes/no vote but you keep running scared
English

@andyhw168 To reiterate
Pro-inde parties 1,877,518 votes
Unionist parties 2,575,834 votes.
Its been fun, but it's starting to feel like watching a rabid dog chase it's tail.
I bid you farewell
English

100% correct & it needs repeated often and loudly.

Scots disagree about all sorts of questions. We don’t become less Scottish when we do.
English

@tihanygirl @BronwynChat Who set the rules? If the government we elect can’t trigger the vote then what can. And again the WM parties govern with much lower % vote share. The SNP and Greens are confident there would be a majority and therefore they can put it to test.
English

@andyhw168 @BronwynChat Your putting the cart before the horse. Trigger for 2nd vote is significant sustained shift in support for it & yes polls can be wrong - what other benchmark do you suggest?
English

@paulhutcheon Oh dear have you fallen out of love with them as they aren’t in power and can’t reward you. Their lies made you look foolish too as you promoted them as truth. Don’t whether that makes you gullible or fool. What it proves is that you backed losers

EXC: A Scottish Labour official has accused Anas Sarwar and Jackie Baillie of admitting “zero” mistakes after a "dire" Holyrood election result.
dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-…
English

@tihanygirl @BronwynChat In your opinion. We saw how wrong polls were in GE and Scottish Elections so only way to test is by having referendum.
English

@andyhw168 @BronwynChat You can give me what you like, it doesnt change the fact that incredibly, there has been no significant sustained shift in support. BTW the vow was, delivered & you insult us oldies by suggesting we can't think for ourselves. Ive heard no credible argument for inde'- just emotion
English

@ScotExpress According to you she scraped a seat in list.Does this not also apply to Labour, Tory,Lib-Dems and Reform who also got seats on list. If you are saying she has no right to be MSP then that should apply to them as well. Biased rag definitely not Scottish

@KeepUKtogether @ScotGovFM They got more seats than any other party on their own. That is a majority. Just because it doesn’t suit your agenda you lump Labour,Tories,Lib-Dems and Reform together.- which admittedly they are all WM controlled so could be seen as one party but they aren’t so count separately
English

Listen up @ScotGovFM #DishonestJohn
You said an SNP (emphasis) MAJORITY would be a mandate for demanding Indy (albeit NOT your remit)
SNP did NOT gain a majority
You therefore did NOT achieve a mandate for Indy
You are now demanding Indy
YOU are a liar 🤥
GIVE. IT. UP. 🤡
English

@johnadgrady When will you admit that Labour is not working for Scotland.
English

@tihanygirl They got more seats than other parties. That is a majority. The system is set up to not get a majority deliberately.
English

@tihanygirl Plus you don’t know how many of other parties votes came from those who would support independence so only true way is a vote only on that matter. It’s been 12 years democracy allows for re-vote.
English

@andyhw168 🤣🤣nice try . Seats aren't the same as votes, no matter how SNP try to frame it as such.
English

@tihanygirl We got majority of seats -a majority is more than any other party. Plus Greens are pro independence so by your argument that gives us right.
