@PMCPune @sunnynimhan @SidShirole we are resident of Aundh Jagdish Nagar, Rachana Garden,Amrapali, Surajban,Sharmil, and nearby Kasturba Vasahat , facing this approch road block since last 2 moths for the drainage line work and its going very slow.. need yout intervention....

@anghugare @PMCPune @SidShirole Thank you for raising this issue. The speed breakers are removed because of the upcoming global cycling event in Pune. After the event is over, I will follow up with PMC and push for reinstalling the speed breakers to ensure safety of pedestrians.

@PMCPune please install speed breaker on university road. Near kasturba Vasahat puncher .... Due to the removal of the speed breaker it's very hard to cross the road.., 411007

@FITEMaharashtra First of all this road was an outer road to bypass pune and then the entire pune was built across this road, which is causing more stress on the patch, 1.We need to remove Two wheelers and 3 wheelers from that patch and move them to Service road

As a regular #NH48 commuter on the Pune–Satara Highway and an early #TollFree #ZholeFree #HoleFree campaign andolankarta since 2017, we strongly condemn the recent action plan proposed for the Nawale Bridge accident zone. 🚫 1. #Speedlimit cut to 30 km/h? Dropping from 60➡️30 km/h will be a nightmare for drivers. Has the govt even tested this stretch 100+ times at 30 km/h from Katraj Tunnel → Nawale Bridge? 📊 If yes, share the data points. Without technical studies, this move may create more chaos than safety. 🚧 2. Six new #speedcameras? These will mostly penalise regular commuters, not the real culprits. Faulty, overloaded trucks will continue to have brake failures and cause the same accidents. 👉 Fix the truck quality, enforce manufacturing standards, and audit maintenance practices. ⚖️ 3. Use toll plazas for real enforcement #Tollplazas must automatically weigh heavy vehicles using tech — no manual interference. We don’t trust the current manual checks where vehicles may be allowed through by local officials. 📢 Requesting the Govt: Before implementing such poorly thought-out measures, please share the technical data, testing results, and risk analysis behind this plan.
