Saying “women find X unattractive” is not nagging, nor is it the same as demanding men stop doing said thing.

Gaming isn’t unattractive. Lack of ambition is. Same goes for any hobby if it takes over your life. Weird how only one gets singled out.

@BradleyGrey_ @LizzieMarbach Everyone is hearing "as an adult man you can't play video games" instead of "you can play video games but your gf/wife will find that activity at best neutral or more likely unattractive" which is obviously true

No one should be dragging her for making a true statement. People’s need for everything they do to be celebrated is out of control. People should be able to point out the downsides of how we all choose to spend our time without getting dragged. She insulted lots of peoples idol is what she did. And the response demonstrates that it needs to be done more

Men have a hobby. Women most effected. Also, my wife plays video games. My kids play them too. Just because you're boring doesn't mean you get to sabotage other women and families.

READ THE WHOLE THING. 🔥🙌🏼 Per usual, @GabrielHudelson brings in all the sanity, clarity, and fire needed on a topic. “it makes perfect sense from a biblical perspective why gaming would not be attractive to females. And any culture where it becomes attractive to females would be concerning for a simple reason – masculinity is supposed to do stuff.”

Sure, it can be concerning if gaming serves to shirk responsibility But most people over the age of 35 pop on their console or PC after a long day of work & taking care of kids for a couple matches to relax The latter case isn't any different from watching sports or Netflix

@anglicanWM @LizzieMarbach @grok You made some very good points to Lizzie. My suggestion is don't sully those with references to what grok confirms. Grok has been repeatedly shown to summarize the fake news and biased studies.

This is such a stupid take, but one that demonstrates the immaturity and atrophied brains of gamers. There are countless respectable hobbies. Play an instrument, take up jiu jitsu, go hunting, go to the gym, play a sport, learn to fish, go hiking, build a shed, fix a car, build something, make something, write something, read something, play something. Do something that makes you better, not worse. x.com/kevan_gogh/sta…

@LizzieMarbach You think 61% of women means women in general don’t like men who play video games? Please. I could understand it if it was his only hobby but this all subjective preferences. Not universal.

Men will hear criticism of video games if it comes from someone they trust and who they believe is fighting for their interests. These criticisms will not be entertained coming from male social climbers seemingly in possession of a golden ticket to the PMC. They certainly won’t be well-received coming from women who spend upwards of 4 hours a day on their own indulgent hobbies dressed up as “self-care”.

If you ever wanna ignite your comments section, criticize video games. Weed is another good one. Maybe anime too. Good way to chum the waters.
