My family and I watched the 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump and Norah O’Donnell last night, and we were shocked. Seeing a president speak to a woman journalist with that level of contempt — and a clear allergy to facts — is disturbing, though at this point not unexpected given his pattern of behavior. But that is the problem. Because when that level of disrespect from the highest office in the country repeats itself, it starts to trickle down into our culture and define what power looks like, shaping how boys and plenty of men see women and girls and what they come to accept as normal behavior.

A nonprofit that helps abused dogs announces they are filing lawsuits against Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, LA Animal Services, the City of Los Angeles and the LAPD They have submitted consistent evidence of “horrific” dog abuse on Skid Row She says Democrats “They do not care” “I've spoken in front of city council, I've offered solutions, tried to help the very, very best I can. Yeah. And they don't care. They have not responded to any solution that I've offered — I got horrific videos of dogs in cages on Skid Row, and it has been my mission for the last three years to try to get dogs who are being abused on Skid Row removed. And they will not remove them. They will not enforce the law. Every single one of those people and every single one of those agencies refuses to remove the dogs” California has both animal cruelty and neglect statutes the people on skid row are breaking not because the homeless are a protected class, no punishments ever gone to them Democrats “Do not care” about this animal cruelty

The top 0.1% of income earners in California make 12% of the state's total income and pay 27% of total income taxes. The bottom 50% of income earners make 12% of total income and pay 3% of total income taxes. If the 0.1% leave, the revenue gap must be filled through higher taxes from everyone else or lower public spending.
