Thank you for speaking up for women and girls. I left California at the end of 2007, and at the time I was saddened, but I believe God saw what would become of the state and it's government, and provided a great reason to leave (free/reduced education). If I still lived there, I would not feel safe or trust the state. My heart hurts for the women and girls who live there, and I encourage everyone to elect people like @listen2tish to redirect the state’s course. You should be working with @SophiaSLorey to prevent bills like the one mentioned from being instituted, and if you support this bill, you're complicit in allowing predators access to a group they should never be allowed near.

I finished this series the other day, and my opinion did not improve. The main protagonist was extremely unlikable, IMO, and if the supporting characters had been the same, I would have given up on the series as my first DNF. Overall, a huge disappointment after reading ACOTAR, and has me considering whether I will read @SJMaas’ “Throne of Glass” series.

The study, published this week in Acta Paediatrica, was led by Professor Riittakerttu Kaltiala of Tampere University Hospital. Kaltiala has run Finland's youth gender clinic since 2011. She also served on the UK's Cass Review advisory board.

Where did anyone say this issue was in relation to safety? And isn't it a lie to say sex is mutable, and men can become women; they can't. Also, why is it okay for them to insist we use their preferred pronouns, which is actually a lie? Your pinned post indicates you believe in God and therefore follow the teachings and wisdom in the Bible, so you should know lying is a sin. Unlike requiring the correct sex on a license, where a DNA test will corroborate that sex, in this case, he is a man. Can you please point out where the lie is?

Policies like this don’t make anyone safer they just create unnecessary friction and force people into situations where they feel like they’re being pushed to lie on official documents. If the goal is public safety, explain how a gender marker on a driver’s license changes anything about how someone drives, behaves, or follows the law. It doesn’t.

Where your son disappears into Evin Prison and you get a call to come pick up the body. Where the internet goes dark so the world can’t see the killing. That’s what “they have lived in a world that you know nothing about” means. Before the media turns this into “Trump wants to bomb civilians,” understand: the Iranian people have been begging the world to see them for years. I'm on the last novel of @SJMaas’s Crescent City trilogy, and have to ask, did anyone actually like Bryce as a character? Personally, I can't stand her, and my dislike grows the more I read. The only reason I am continuing is for two reasons: 1. I can't quit a series when I have already invested time by reading the first two books, especially when it’s a short series. 2. I like the other characters and their stories.
