When you realise that both of India's government and private ecosystems have demonstrated the capability to launch satellites on their own launch vehicles 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 46 years apart. First govt. owned Indian rocket - ISRO launched Rohini (RS-1) onboard SLV-3 E-2 on 18 July 1980. First privately owned Indian rocket - Skyroot launched Vikram-1 on 18 July 2026. @gareebscientist The mission will also provide key learnings for flying (pilot) as well as our very own space station in the future. Both of which are not there in India rn. Geopolitically, it is also very good to have joint missions with other space faring countries.

@gareebscientist I understand your lack of excitement. But it still needs to be shared with everyone because it is only the second Indian astronaut in space. Kalpana Chawla's story ignited me to reach where I am, this being an Indian has even more possibilities for the young generation.

Guys I have a confession I'm sorry for this But I'm just not able to get excited for this mission. To me it's a business transaction. Barely any engineering We are not the middle east. We have our own rockets, own human space program. Forgive me, no videos on this mission
