Imagine thinking that the people who smeared feces on the walls of the US Capitol and wanted to kill lawmakers deserve sympathy but the mom and nurse murdered by federal agents in cold blood on the streets of Minnesota do not.

This veto by Laura Kelly is absurd. Improving our children's physical fitness should be a top priority. It's past time to let Kansas kids exercise during the school day again so they can build healthy habits that lead to a lifetime of sustainable physical fitness. When I'm Governor next year, this bill will become law.

During my visit to Emporia, I sat down with Chuck Samples of KVOE to discuss our campaign for governor. We discussed putting more money back into your pockets, lowering property taxes, and allowing the state's economy to grow. Check it out at the link below.

Kansas Senate Minority Leader, @dinah_sykes (Democrat) spoke at a HS graduation in Johnson County, KS. It went just as one would expect. 1. Referenced Covid, "the global pandemic"... 2. Used a washing machine as a metaphor... 3. Stated public education was "incredible"... Takeaways: Keep. Politics. Out. Of. Schools.

The same Supreme Court that told you that ICE can consider race as a factor to stop an individual and question their immigration status told you that lawmakers can't consider race when drawing congressional maps.

Late in the middle of last night, Trump angrily accused President Obama of persecuting his political rivals, overturning an election, and profiting from his presidency. Editor’s note: Obama did none of those things. Editor’s note 2: Trump has done all of these things.

Btw, the cost to repair the reflecting pool went from $1.8 million to $7 million and now it's $13.1 million. A reminder that not a single soul asked for that project.

Yesterday, Trump pointed at Rachel Scott of ABC News and said "she's a bitch" after Ms. Scott asked him about rising gas prices. It will be old news by close of business today. Once again: Trump is held to a different standard by legacy media.

I've said for weeks that IF the World Cup turns out to be a BUST, many will point the blame at President Trump. Why? It's too easy for them. You'll be shocked that that's the road The Kansas City Star is going down this week (see below). Here is some nuance to what's going on here: The U.S. government has implemented a "Visa Bond Pilot Program" requiring, for some nations, a refundable bond payment of up to $15,000 per person. This policy applies to visitors from 50 nations, targeting those with high visa overstay rates, requiring payments of $5,000–$15,000. Yes, there are two teams playing games in Kansas City on this list: Tunisia and Algeria. IF you were holding out hope that either of these countries were going to have a large presence in Kansas City, well, I've got some bad news for you: The median income in Tunisia in US Dollars is $2,300 PER year. In Algeria, it's even less, at $2,200. As for the countries subject to the Visa Bonds, they're not countries that were likely to come here in any kind of sizable numbers to begin with. And they're countries with folks more likely to overstay the Visa, hence the bond program. Countries like France, England, Brazil, Argentina, The Netherlands, etc. are no where to be found on this list. And THEY were always going to be the potential economic engines of this World Cup to begin with, if the economic engine was going to happen at all. I'm happy the World Cup is here, and believe it can be exciting for Kansas City, but if it doesn't meet the economic expectations that were promised by the politicians, who used those lofty numbers to justify spending millions in taxpayer dollars on the event, don't let them point the finger at the White House, because the real suckers were always staring at them right in the mirror.
