Running an experiment. What are the most insanely high yielding ETFs available in Canada and the US? Like the really stupidly high yield stuff. Not dividend funds. Like single stock leveraged daily income covered call trash. Post tickers and yields

I love Louis’ comedy but this take is shiitake mushroom and WTF is going on with those wandering gray neck hairs? It looks like Gandalf’s alcoholic friend just got divorced. Yuck!

High Beta has never been easier. But how many people actually win in this game? Very few lotto winners, most always round trip it. This retail furus think they have the secret sauce, not recognizing they just happen to fall in that part of the lucky distribution. For every one of these success stories, I know of 20 that end up in straight disaster. Sure they may chalk it up to them having better risk management, sure, whatever helps them sleep at night. It’s as if we haven’t seen wild cycles of rolling sector bubbles that pop and leave untold damage to most of retail. These guys are all fucking clowns man, even if they aren’t clowns. Ignorance is bliss in other words. The fact that this dude took so little money and supposedly flipped it into big bags, the fact that he is calling this alpha, as he apes in AI trades, is straight laughable. Tell me you are a charlatan without telling me you are a charlatan.

Loudest, dumbest market I’ve ever seen. Institutional capital the worst offender. Independent thinking is extinct. Alpha’s never been easier.

@adamscrabble I've been searching for the video that started the real fear. Can't remember dates. It was Fauci talking to press when he 1st gave the stats (global spread was a given then); something like 15-20% of infected would be hospitalized+ maybe 5~% would die. Can't find it!

2020: "Dangerously ill coronavirus patients are making "startling recoveries" in spite of being at "death's door" after being given drugs that dial down the immune system, experts have said. archive.ph/b3zmp 2023: "does not improve survival or clinical outcomes for patients with severe COVID-19...no benefit over standard care...futility...adverse events...infections, were more common in the treatment group...

@StefanMolyneux Exactly! It's the obvious solution to student debt issues but more importantly would eliminate useless degrees that don't have real market value. The fact that no politician on either side ever even mentions this obvious solution tells you the truth; they don't care about you!

This app is full of bullshit about how safe El Salvador is compared to Europe. Even after incarcerating more people per capita than anywhere else, they’re not even close. I guess people from the Americas are impressed by being able to walk the streets.. sorry, we can do that in every single EU country without problems.

This may be a useful gauge for market reaction over the weekend. The Saudi Stock market (Tadawul All Shares Index) today underperformed its biggest constituent (Saudi Aramco) by the most in over 5 years. Major risk off move + spike in oil prices

Wrong. These businesses failed because they didn’t invest in R&D, didn’t continually improve quality and lower costs. They became captured by their ‘stakeholders’ and thus made decisions that benefited their employees and local politicians, rather than their owners or their customers. If they hadn’t, then they would still be world leaders like Apple is or virtually all of the Fortune 500. America wins. Stop lying about why losers lose.

This is an abandoned furniture factory in Bassett, Virginia. By 1960 this was the largest manufacturer of wooden furniture IN THE WORLD. Employed more than 3000 people in a thriving town. They even had an Opera house. After China entered the WTO, all lost.

Ai will impact housing too. - Massively deflationary. Lower rates. - Less job security will mean fewer jumbo mortgages. More renting than buying. - Suburbs benefit. Work from anywhere. Hyper connected, and Cost of living.

The Canadian dollar is quietly breaking higher as the US dollar increasingly confirms the early stages of a major downtrend. Every gold bull market follows the same pattern: a mining cycle, a broad commodities rally, a rotation into emerging markets — and a strengthening of foreign currencies versus the USD. Yes, even the Canadian peso could catch a bid here :) It’s one of the most heavily shorted currencies in the world today. This is exactly the kind of setup I like — especially when you remember that most mining stocks are priced in Canadian dollars.
