@gonsalves_r Definitely! But there is clearly no political will to choose public transportation over infrastructure. A part of what you’ve suggested could also be used to ensure regular maintenance of existing roads, which could in turn make existing systems so more effective! But, no :/

@anoopajohn Let me put it like this: we could double Bangalore’s bus fleet for the interest payments on the tunnel road cost alone. If we were to postpone (not even cancel) the tunnel road project, and invest the 17780Cr approved money, we could use the interest alone to roughly 2x our buses

Every time a new metro line opens, the city feels happier. Twitter turns cheerful, almost like a mini festival among people. You don’t see that when a new flyover or tunnel opens.

When I began freelancing in 2015, I didn't fully consider the flexibility this form of work could offer.
