An extra hour of sleep can’t make up for how tired I am of having to roll back the clocks for the darkest days in the coldest months.

Let's make Daylight Saving Time permanent.

@garrytan @braveben Did you mean - no outbound sales reps or that outbound sales itself will stop working (as in being completely ineffective)

@APompliano Isn't that because that they have to and hence they won't stick with lower paying ones? They can't take so much risk?

@PeterDiamandis Not just feasible, it will become a necessity as society figures out what to do with the problem of excess supply of labor when AI causes labor demand implosion.

hard problem in open source is that when met with critique, maintainers sometimes jump to the decision making that got them there, ignoring the current state of the project. "admit what I did was logical first" kind of argument

BREAKING NEWS: Anthropic announces the ability for Claude to *use a computer*. Yes, you read that right. A.I. will now have the ability to *use* computer software, just like humans can. This dramatically increases the potential use cases for AI Agents because no longer is it necessary for an API to exist for the specific functionality you need to access. Instead, agents will be able to get to the same features/functions that a human can get to. This is a development that we knew was coming, we just didn't know when and from who. Can't wait to build an agent on @AgentDotAi that automates a personal workflow for me (just to see how this works). It's going to be another long/fun night. What would you automate, if you had an AI agent that could use software?

@BrianRoemmele Why do we exclude the possibility that the monkeys can communicate to the ones who have not experienced this?

The 1966 Five Monkey Experiment . This experiment demonstrates social learning and operant conditioning. The monkeys learned to avoid climbing the ladder through observation and the fear of punishment. Over time, even without experiencing the original cold water punishment, the behavior persisted and became a tradition, showing how social behaviors can be passed down without understanding the original cause.

@kirawontmiss Very interesting. Why would kids who have not interacted with each other or seen each other do these things go through the the same exploratory approach in doing these things.
