At Xerox PARC, researchers were building the future before the world knew what to do with it. And even before that, in 1968, Douglas Engelbart at the 'Mother of all demos' asked: “If, in your office, you as an intellectual worker were supplied with a computer display backed up by a computer that was alive for you all day and was instantly responsive to every action you had, how much value could you derive from that?” That was the question then. Today, we have research-grade intelligence in our hands. We have compute. We have tools that can write, design, reason, code, edit, and build with us. We have the world as our canvas.
