@TimMeek8 I agree, I wish I trained in some form of craft. At that age it felt like not going to University was some form of failure. Mainly because the UK lost its apprenticeship model. Finding an entry route at career change age seems tricky.

@antdoran Nobody should work free. But the market is flooded with YP trying to navigate a career with a degree. The demand is for hand skills. I am saying train practically first and add the degree later if required.

Shouldn't enviromental politics be about having a converstion about peoples choice so that policies and changes can be made?

Acording to @theCCCuk it may be difficult to sell my home by 2028 without secondary heating. Changes need to be made, for sure.

@Matt_Morrow88 The study used for thie article shows that the majority of people burning wood do so because of necesity in social class' C2 and below. Not middle class. Whilst the Kantor study was much better it is not definitive measured data. Also, industry is a greater polluter of PM2.5

@mudlarklives Mmm...possibly. But people's actual exposure is greater from wood burning stoves. Which unlike industry have no purpose other than lifestyle.

I feel blessed to be able to attend drama school but man it’s tough sometimes. The toll this place can take on your mental health is something else. Not sure what the solution is yet but surely there’s something that can change?

Probably the most frustrating thing about being freelance is having to simultaneously do enough jobs to pay bills, whilst also applying for future jobs (to pay future bills), whilst also doing the always-expected-but-unpaid prep for upcoming jobs, all at the same time. 🤯
