@KobeissiLetter Wow, I honestly can’t believe Morgan Stanley isn’t leading the IPO. Is this verified? Morgan litteraly rehired grimes for this IPO + with their help with the Twitter acquisition, I honestly don’t see how Morgan Stanley isn’t the lead book runner

@KobeissiLetter The real story is Japanese yields. While other factors are present, the Japanese bond market problems flow downstream into US yields

It simply won't stop. It is Sunday night and the US 10Y Note Yield just casually hit 4.63%, the highest since February 2025. We are now ~4 basis points ABOVE the high that prompted President Trump's "90-day tariff pause" in April 2025. This puts the 10Y Note Yield up +70 basis points since the Iran War, with US mortgage rates now nearing 7.00%+. And, in a sudden turn of events, the odds of rate cuts have collapsed to 2% this year and US inflation is nearing 4%+. The US bond market is collapsing in real-time.

I suffered a MASSIVE reduction in cash back this month because the best source of manufactured spend started adding fees, making cash back grinding impossible. If I don’t get my act together and find a new workflow, then May will be even worse. I may never financially recover from this.

@d_1awrence I don’t believe his argument was that $STRC is a ponzi. His argument was that it should not be advertised to retail as a fixed income/credit product or using terms such as “bank” “ bank account” in its advertising. Since the underlying “product” is preferred equity.

Coffeezilla thinks that $STRC is going to fail because it's 11.5% yield is "Too good to be true" comparing it to the Terra Luna moment and described it as a "Ponzi Scheme". There's absolutely no substance to his claims because he doesn't understand it. He sees the headline interest return and then compares it to every other high yield return product but spectacularly misses the fact that this product is nothing like them. Saylor recently did an interview with @Bankless and mentioned there were '3 types of people in the world - Optimists, Pessimists & Alarmists". Coffeezilla in this instance is an alarmist. He says that Strategy are 'not obligated to pay you the yield'. Correct....but it's clearly not in their interest to not pay the divided, so why would they not? As Saylor correctly says: "You need to have a stochastic view of the world. We could list 100 things that could go wrong, but the real threat is you get hit by a truck because you're not looking both ways while you cross the street." $STRC is the real deal. Anyone who has watched it closely over the past 8+ months will tell you that.
Altcoin Daily@AltcoinDaily

JUST IN: Coffeezilla publishes video taking on Bitcoin believer Michael Saylor & Strategy's $STRC. Coffee says Saylor's STRC preferred-stock pitch is too simple & the risks are not properly explained. "It's been compared to the iPhone. It's been compared to a Ponzi scheme." "You put in your money. They say they're going to yield about 11.5% per year. That's basically double digit returns which is just mind-blowing" "What is the problem with that? Well ultimately... the company has no obligation to pay you back. Why haven't people realized this?" "My entire problem is that they're leading people like a pied piper with this kind of ludicrous idea. Their pitch is of a money market and a bank - When that's just not what this is. This is a snowball of yield."

@AdamBLiv @coffeebreak_YT Fixed income=credit product STRC=preffered equity While preffereds are hybrids and can have aspects of both debt/equity, they are classified as debt (credit product/fixed income) IF and ONLY IF the issuer is obligated to repurchase them on the future STRC isn’t fixed income

Variable payout does not mean "not fixed income." Floating-rate notes, bank loans, reset preferreds, and perpetual preferreds all sit in fixed income markets without paying a static coupon forever. And fixed income does not mean guaranteed principal either. Junk bonds and distressed credit are fixed income too, and principal can absolutely get destroyed. You still have not explained how this is comparable to a ponzi. You are continuing to misrepresent STRC and are doubling down while being wrong.

@vivere99 @MartinShkreli @vivere99 bro you clearly don’t understand how DTA’s/NOL’s carry forwards works. The differences in Accrual/cash accounting are TEMPORARY hence why there exist DTA/DTL’s. (there’s also permanent differences like Intrest earned from municipal bonds)

@Hedgeye I like this system better than the old one . But not sure how I feel about brokers determining the risk of your position. Is there a guideline for all brokers to follow or it’s essentially up to their own risk dept discretion?

Key details on the new margin system: 1. Brokers will track your risk throughout the day, not just at the close 2. You may be blocked from placing trades if they would put your account at risk 3. If you use too much leverage, you’ll need to add cash or close positions quickly 4. If you don’t fix it within a few days, your account can be restricted for up to 90 days 5. Rules are based on how risky your positions are, NOT how many trades you make

BREAKING: The SEC eliminates the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule and replaces it with a new intraday margin system.

$ASTS was up 5% pre market on the $AMZN $GSAT news and has since given it all back and then some being down over 10% since the pre market top That is the market being irrational in real time and I want to explain why this news is actually one of the most bullish things that has happened for the entire D2D sector this year. $AMZN is acquiring $GSAT Globalstar for roughly $9 billion. Let that sink in. Globalstar does $272 million in revenue. Has a basic LEO network. Powers Apple Emergency SOS. Limited direct to device capability. The technology is miles behind $ASTS. $AMZN is paying $9 billion for the inferior version of what $ASTS has already built. This is not bearish for $ASTS. This is the most powerful sector validation imaginable. The largest e-commerce and cloud company on earth just told you that direct to device satellite connectivity is worth acquiring at any price. They looked at the competitive landscape and decided they needed a satellite network immediately regardless of cost. They picked the worst horse in the race and still paid $9 billion for it. $ASTS has 50+ carrier partners covering 3.2 billion existing subscribers. 120 Mbps speeds directly to unmodified smartphones. BlueBird 7 on the launchpad right now. $3.9 billion in cash. Fully funded constellation buildout. $GSAT has Apple Emergency SOS and a fraction of the technology. The market is selling $ASTS on news that just proved the entire thesis. Every major tech company on earth is now in a race to own D2D connectivity and $ASTS is the only pure play publicly traded company that has actually built it at scale. The pullback is a gift.
