I’m thrilled to announce @reductoai’s $75M Series B led by @a16z, which brings our total funding to $108M. Just five months after our Series A, we've surpassed 1 billion pages processed and grown our monthly volume 6x. We now process hundreds of millions of pages every month for some of the world's best AI teams. Here's what we've learned and where we're headed 🧵

Big milestone for Reducto: we’ve raised a $75M Series B led by a16z, bringing our total funding to $108M. Since our launch, we’ve been obsessed with pushing the limits of what’s possible when AI meets the real-world messiness of documents. We’ve now processed 1B+ pages, nearly 6x the pages since our Series A less than 6 months ago. We’re doubling down on model research, developer tooling, and the reliability that production AI demands. We'll be announcing a series of product improvements that will extend our capabilities even further, helping our customers get even closer to perfect accuracy across their most challenging docs. A big thank you to everyone who helped get us here. But we're just getting started - if you're interested in what we're doing, we’re hiring across all functions! reducto.ai/careers

It’s so exciting to follow Reducto’s incredible journey! Always amazed by the team and can’t wait to see what’s next from @aditabrm and @raunakdoesdev 🥳📑🪄

Today, @reductoai is helping hundreds of AI teams ingest tens of millions of pages every month, and we’re excited to announce that we’ve raised an $8.4M seed round led by @firstround to continue on our mission of making human data LLM-ready. (1/7)

And it all runs on prem (for cheap with serverless)! You can log in with @awscloud and *everything* is deployed to your existing account/VPC. Shoot me a DM if you want to give Orchestrator a try, or check out some of our other public apps at gallery.oloren.ai (4/4)

105 ML papers were published on @arxiv today. It's getting harder and harder to keep up with the latest ML research. Today we're making it a bit easier with a free LLM powered app that goes from PDFs to beautiful markdown summaries in seconds. Try it yourself below 👇 (1/4)

The planning process for large-scale renewable energy projects too often affects Indigenous land and cultural resources but rarely offers a genuine opportunity for engagement and consultation.
Native Nations Institute@NNIarizona

Indigenous Peoples compose about 6.2% of the world's population but are estimated to be involved in at least 34% of documented environmental conflicts worldwide. Read more here: aaas.org/news/global-ex… #indigenous #environment @uazenvironment @uazresearch @AAAS_GR

Check out this awesome post from the BPC! Their April 2023 workshop provided really insightful options for community engagement best practices in the federal clean infrastructure permitting process. bipartisanpolicy.org/blog/clean-inf…

Took some time recently to do a "deep dive" into what different groups are proposing around federal permitting reform, since this seems to be one of the energy policy "hot topics" of 2023. A 🧵 on common themes I observed...

I just finished Revolutionary Power: An Activist's Guide to the Energy Transition by Shalanda Baker and wanted to share what I've learned with #energytwitter. IMO this book should be required reading for energy wonks -- energy is as much sociopolitical as it is technical. A 🧵

We wrote to @POTUS and offered an alternative framework for our clean energy transition that does not prolong the life of dirty fossil fuels like this #DirtyDeal. There is a better path forward. ejus.tc/3j8Szch

We’re into the penultimate (scheduled) day of #COP27 and things are coming to a head. Here’s the latest state of play explaining why we’re deeply worried about the draft decisions 🧵

Now that my friend @JoeBiden has brought the USA back into the climate fold, we urge that America goes further by supporting loss and damage at #COP27. There's no clearer way to show the USA is serious about its better relationship with the planet and our US-Pacific Partnership.
