@teamleafie Does this suggest more patients without previous relationships with cannabis who are more comfortable with non flower products ?

@MedBudUK @Morgan4201999 @GeoffreyGo94064 So am I right in thinking the BN stuff was jersey? They should be proud of that if it is because it’s certainly the best UK product. Especially when you consider its price.

The race to the bottom on clinical pricing for access to #MedicalCannabis, as good as it is for patients - can't be left so sparse as to be unsafe. While we welcome Wellford drastically reducing costs, their £5/pm plan for just 2 x 10 minute consults in a year seems concerning.

@MedBudUK @Morgan4201999 @GeoffreyGo94064 So I take it you pretty much know where it’s all from but you don’t rock the boat and publish your findings. I find this lack of transparency very telling most of the time a few with exceptions.

@anxiousdad420 @Morgan4201999 @GeoffreyGo94064 From our perspective it's normally because either: - They aren't exclusive purchasers, and don't want rival companies with deeper pockets to snatch the supply line. - It's from a country/company that's unpopular or has a reputation amongst patients that would jeopardise sales.

@lefthookthebody @anxiousdad420 I grew up with 3.5g for £10 of 'hash' being the norm, it was always half the price of flower back in the day. Prices are high, but they'll be driven down over time as more options launch - the company had to invest heavily to get this to market properly, we expected high prices.

We've confirmed details for the two new 🇨🇦 Phant extracts – and we're incredibly excited for launch. Both slightly different ice-water based extracts, one as solid, the other as granulate. Full information leaflets are published on the listings below. Solid: medbud.wiki/extracts/phant… Granulate: medbud.wiki/extracts/phant… Both are manufactured from a cross of Chemango Kush x Ginger Breath. £40/g, sold in 2g units - initial availability likely limited to Cantourage (Cedarwood), Mamedica and Medicann, others yet unconfirmed.

I condemn the deadly attack on a mosque in San Diego. My thoughts are with those affected. I know many Muslims in the UK will be shaken by this, worried about their safety when going about their lives and attending mosque, and what it says about the times we’re living in. I understand those fears. Violence like this does not happen in a vacuum. It grows in an environment where division and anti-Muslim hostility are normalised. That is intolerable. We must all come together against it.

Clinics that don't practice 'prescription direction' (as in attempting to influence which pharmacies a patient can use, and then profiting directly from selling the meds) struggle financially to compete whatsoever. A specialist's time is often £200/ph, hence all the 'shared care' agreements with cheaper clinicians becoming increasingly rife. Crazy as it is, there's many patients today whom only ever see their specialist doctor once. The race to the bottom is only viable because of breaking various basic medical principles, such as avoiding properly declaring financial conflicts of interest to patients (commercially limited formularies), and trying to limit/bias treatment options to what's most profitable for a clinic. There should be no commercial influences on prescribing/medical decision making whatsoever, throughout UK healthcare - but unfortunately it's long now been normalised and @CQCpressoffice simply will not act to enforce non-commercial prescribing. In many ways, it's a national scandal.

The U turn on the clean air isn’t a weakness. Admitting that an idea isn’t right and making changes is what a reasonable person does. Keeping on the same line no matter what (like drugs policy) is just stupid. Politics isn’t a cult even though people treat it as such. You can agree with just parts of it. It’s not an all or nothing situation.

A little bit about Andy Burnham... He has repeatedly ignored Rochdale and Oldham rape gangs. He wasted £100m+ on failed Clean Air Zone before U-turning. He oversaw Greater Manchester Police collapse amid a crime surge. He was Health Secretary during the Mid-Staffordshire NHS deaths scandal and cover-up between 2005-2008. He claimed £17k expenses for a London flat within walking distance of Parliament. He's just as bad as the rest of them, perhaps even worse... I guess that’s why the pound tumbled upon news of his leadership bid.

🔴 @AndyBurnhamGM on BBC today: “I think Britain has been on the wrong path for 40 years.” 👍 It started with de-industrialisation, bus deregulation, and the privatisation of life’s essentials. 👏 We need to… get the basics back under public control so that people can afford their rent, their energy bills, etc. 🙌 He wants Labour to “change and once again [be] the party that people in this borough knew… I don’t blame anybody who has gone away and voted for other parties. I want them to regain their trust… I want Labour solidly to become a working class community.”

Legalise weed mate.. loads of sensible adults would benefit. The revenue created would be invested into mental health and local communities. Regeneration of old spaces and a new industry. Don’t let the private medical industry gate keep it. Remember it took a blind man in the Labour Party to C the truth.

@ZackPolanski Legalising Cannabis will have a massive impact on local economies. If done right people in every town will see that tax invested back into their communities. I think the results are very clear from around the world.

There's a toxic combination of low wages and high bills. We need a Prime Minister who understands the need to tackle the cost of living crisis and the urgency of the climate crisis. We need to end Rip off Britain.

I’m not trying to win over anyone or influence them. I find it very strange it’s the first thing you think of. I’m not part of the industry so I can actually speak openly and tell the truth (as I see it). Across the board the products you speak of are at worst laughed at and become a community joke or at best tolerated by inexperienced customers who perhaps don’t understand what they should be looking at and what they have in their hand. The way I feel about most medical right now is if we accept this as some form of gold standard more companies will rest on their laurels and continue to produce what most customers perceive to be unacceptable quality. It doesn’t matter about press releases or even what the grow looks like. It’s what the customer receives in that bag after they have spent their hard earned money that counts. Let’s look at it another way. Tip 95% of medical weed into a tub in a Dutch coffee shop that’s renowned for selling top quality products. How much of it would get sold if people could inspect it? You really think products by the two growers mentioned would sell?

The UK's #cannabis supply chain is robust in its ambition but is constrained by the speed and agility of its regulatory gatekeepers. The ongoing reliance on imports, while diversifying supply, simultaneously amplifies the impact of Home Office licensing. A bottleneck in a single import licence application can impact hundreds of patients relying on a specific product. #drugspolicy medicexum.com/insights/uk-me…

Sorry dude but your standards don’t match up with anyone on the community with experience. As much as I respect your campaigning for legalisation your opinion on a quality product is way off the mark by those comments. The standards other set isn’t followed by the two companies mentioned. The fact none of their stuff sells out and has to be discounted speaks volumes. Like I’ve said if a product represents both quality and value it’s gone in days. So just by that metric we can say with confidence their products are not great.

I can confirm that Glass Pharms' Lemon Cherry Gelato is excellent. Blackberry Sour is not excellent but I would still rate as good. I haven't yet sampled a Dalgety product but I have visited the facility, visually inspected some products and I am confident they will also meet the required standard.

Congratulations. The issue that no Labour MP mentions.. Gaza and the obvious devotion to Israel. The recent mass media campaign in relation to the attacks and antisemitism. I think it’s worth mentioning that the acts of the Israel government who are Zionist controlled has made the average dad angry as hell at the sight of people being slaughtered. This is the machine protecting itself from its genocidal actions. This hate is directed towards the government and Zionists not your average Jew on the street. It’s being twisted and manipulated into another narrative. To clean this up Labour has to cut its deep ties with Israel. It has to close Labours Friends of Israel, stop taking huge funding and remove Zionist influence from its core. The same rotten core that used similar tactics to remove the only man who would and still stands against their illegal action. I ask you this @Andyburnham. How can you support a government that right now is using white phosphorus in Lebanon 🇱🇧. If you want Labour to regain its reputation don’t ignore why the average dad voted green.

I can confirm that I will be requesting the permission of the NEC to stand in the Makerfield by-election. I grew up in this area and have lived here for 25 years. I care deeply about it and its people. I know they have been let down by national politics. Ten years ago, I decided to leave Westminster. Why? Because, after 16 years, I came to the conclusion that our national political system does not work for areas like ours. I learnt this fighting its failure to invest in the Wigan borough, for justice for the Hillsborough families and against its treatment of Greater Manchester during the pandemic. Over the last decade, I have been challenging this failure from the outside and building a new and better way of doing politics. We have built Greater Manchester into the fastest-growing city-region in the UK and put buses back under public control, introducing a £2 fare cap to help people with cost-of-living pressures. However, there is only so much that can be done from Greater Manchester. Much bigger change is needed at a national level if everyday life is to be made more affordable again. This is why I now seek people’s support to return to Parliament: to bring the change we have brought to Greater Manchester to the whole of the UK and make politics work properly for people. Millions are struggling and they need the Labour Government to succeed. It has already made changes to make life better for them in its first two years. After this week, we owe it to people to come back together as a Labour movement, giving the Prime Minister and the Government the space and stability they need as the by-election takes place. I want to recognise the difficult decision taken by Josh Simons and the sacrifice he and his family are making. I have worked closely with him as Mayor on issues like flooding and illegal waste dumping and have seen first-hand how effective he has been. He has put the communities of Makerfield first, made a real difference for them and should take great pride in that. Finally, I truly do not take a single vote for granted and will work hard to regain the trust of people in the Makerfield constituency, many of whom have long supported our party but lost faith in recent times. We will change Labour for the better and make it a party you can believe in again. ENDS
