グリーン車で
座席フルで倒した。
後ろに人いたから
一応ゆっくり倒した。
そしたら後ろから
舌打ちみたいなの聞こえてきた。。
だから振り返って
「なに？」って言ったら
「いきなり倒されたので・・・」って
ボソッと弱気に言われた。
いや、意味がわからない。
これ、毎回後ろの人に
「倒していいですか？」って確認いるのか？
ちなみに俺の前の席の人は
普通に何も言わず倒してきてた。
グリーン車って
リクライニングするための席だよな？
一言断るのがマナー派
機能なんだから自由派
これで揉めるの普通に不思議なんだけど。

@LloydLegalist So 17 years ago under Tokyo tower, I discovered the “tuna pizza” crepe. And not only is it good but mindblowingly good. The pizza sauce and cheese works with canned tuna in an amazing way. It’s still sold there if you find yourself in Tokyo.

Truthfully, I always wanted Jeremy to have a show at DW. I know he had many other things on his plate and it was probably impractical.
But his analysis was always my favorite, likely because it’s logical, but also often filtered through the Holy Spirit— which is the truth we so desperately need.
Anyway. It’s a new day, and I’m here for it.

今年1発目の海外は、長年憧れの地だったニューヨークへ。
アラスカ沖上空で目を覚ますと、なんと外にはオーロラが。肉眼でもうっすらと光の帯が見え感激でした。
12時間の飛行のうち約2時間しか寝ませんでしたが、あっという間の太平洋横断フライトでした。

2026 6th flight KMQ ✈︎ HND / NH752 海も空も鉛色の日本海側から晴天の太平洋側へ。名古屋大都市圏を横目に南下する航路が面白い路線です(上りのみ)。 降下中には伊豆半島沖のシアーライン(風同士のぶつかり合い)に伴う雲の列も見え、衛星画像と景色を照らし合わせるのが楽しいフライトでした。

@bejita1192 @CenturionFHR I think it depends on your reward program. At the time I stayed here I had Hilton points to use, today I would use Marriott. These aren’t like normal hotels in their brand, they are specially designed for the falls and have larger rooms typically and a little better service.

@bejita1192 I think the Embassy Suites has the best view. But probably all comparable, if I go back I’ll try the marrriot. It’s a place you can enjoy in a few hours I think.

@a_man_in_red @Masaki_ponpoko McDonald’s is mostly similar between the states and Canada in my experience. When I’m in Japan it actually feels the most like “home” for me. Although Shaka Shaka chicken surprised me a lot. Wish we had it here.

@Masaki_ponpoko Worth noting A&W is still pretty common in Canada and typically has different menu than the states. You should visit a Japanese Denny’s next or post the Japanese KFC or Wendy’s menu. Basically any “American” chain in Japan is a very very different menu compared to the states.

@hecubian_devil I get a tall seasonal hot drink even during summer, no alternations. What does that indicate? If there is no seasonal drink I get a mocha or flat white.

I was a barista for 4 years and a customer’s partisanship was strongly predicted by how complicated/sugary their order was (after adjusting for race, gender, and age). Black coffee orders at Starbucks are overwhelmingly driven by liberal white men.
